So, let's get the difficult bit out of the way first. 

I'm a happily married man with a 10 year old son. Unfortunately, due to my wife's disability, we don't have a physical relationship any more. She suggested (and I agreed) that the easiest way to deal with this would be for me to find somebody who was happy with a 'friends with benefits' arrangement, either because you're happily independent, or because you just want somebody to snuggle with occasionally while you're waiting to be swept off your feet. 

I'm looking for somebody (relatively) sane, with a sense of humour and a fairly relaxed attitude to life. 

I'm perfectly happy to start with just chatting, then maybe friends, then see where we go. I've been trying to find the right person for long enough that I'm not going to worry about a few weeks or months more waiting.
