Free this weekend?

Yet again I'm being abandoned by Mrs. DP for the weekend, and don't fancy doing any more painting, leaving me somewhat at a loose end. sad

Or, seeing the glass as half full, I have an opportunity to go out and find new and interesting people to have fun with. smile

I'm reasonably easy (not like that, well ok sometimes like that wink

) about what form this fun might take - a quiet coffee or a drink somewhere, a film (not sure what's on but I like horror, sci-fi, and other weird stuff), live music (punk, rock, blues, goth and other loud stuff with guitars does it for me), a meal, or just possibly an orgy of frenzied shagging. :) I'm based on Tyneside and only do public transport, though I don't mind doing a bit of travelling on the train if the right opportunity presented itself. I do have the house to myself (apart from a small black cat), though it's in the middle of being decorated and is lived in by a couple of geeks so it's not pristine.
Anyway, I'm expecting any interest in this to be from a social point of view (though other POV are welcome :wink: ), so I'm interested in hearing from anyone really. If you're thinking you might like to shag me then really I'm looking for one or more (hey, you never know your luck) women, or possibly a couple - I'm straight-ish but fine with bi guys who respect limits.
Just for the record, I'm 6'2" and about 275lbs (19 stone+) - so I reckon I probably qualify as a BSF (Big Strapping Fella TM Darkfire), bald, bearded, and generally possessing an all-over body carpet. I have a few ear piercings and both nipples pierced. I generally dress reasonably casually (black jeans, geeky t-shirts and Dr. Marten's). Capable of reasonably erudite conversation (translation: talking the hind leg off a donkey) on a range of topics including science, engineering & technology, politics and current affairs, sci-fi, horror and fantasy trivia, board and roleplaying games, weird and interesting music, cricket, sailing & boat building, etc. I don't do football.
If you fancy meeting socially, then leave a message here - if there's a few of us then I'm happy to do a bit of organising and arrange a small social. If you want to shag me, then perhaps a PM would be better. If you want to meet socially and possibly shag me later, then either or both would be cool.
Edit: I should probably add that I smoke :smoke: and although I'm normally teetotal I don't mind being around people who're enjoying a drink.

To be honest, I'm sick of seeing one line or brief paragraph posts in LMU, I figured I'd attempt to up the ante a little. Besides that, I figure that if I'm asking people to spend time with me, they deserve a bit of effort on my part to let them know what I'm like and what I might be interested in.
