I would like to thank everyone for their co-operation with Saturdays Gold Room Social in Tamworth. I am delighted that it is fully subscribed and prepaid by everyone attending.
Unfortunately there are some on the list who put their names down but didnt book as required. Sorry about that, we are only able to cater for the amount specified.
Looks like we are going to have a ball. I look foward to meeting friends old and new. Dont forget the next Golds Room Social is at Liberty's on the afternoon 2 - 8 on Sunday 8th June. Details are on the forum somewhere.

Agree with the previous post - many thanks to Gold, Silver and everyone else involved in the organisation of last night's social. We were unsure whether to attend or not, but both of us are very glad we did - we met some great people, and the entertainment was (surprisingly!) fantastic. Think you should organise a lot more of these socials - definitely sign us up for the next one!
Also big thanks to JP and everyone who sat at table 1 for making us feel so welcome. See you all soon.

we would like to add our comments on golds fantastically well organised social one of the better ones we have been to some really nice people there and the entertainment what can we say but a bit off the wall but very entertaining bar prices not ott and the food was good all in all gr8 value for the money deffo get our names down for the next one g s and thx again xxxxxxxxx

Well what can i say. What a fab evening we had last night, and I would like to thank everyone who made such a big effort to come along and you all looked fab.
Thanks especially to Paul (marieandpaul) for the fantastic disco and entertainment, and to those who provided the off the wall entertainment (lol). Thanks JP, Jaykay and paul and lilly, thanks for the little extra, you know what I mean. xxx
Also to Twos69's for our very own Golds Room chocolates, how decadent is that.. And to 1wineman2 for the brilliant donations of the wineand champers for the raffle prizes, to York for the M & S voucher, and to Kinkymadam for their website online shop voucher. The proceeds of which were presented to a local pre-school during the evening, thanks to the generosity for all of my guests, we were able to give the lovely T around £200 for the nursery funds.
And lastly to all of you lot for making it such fun. I am just off to panto read through and then we will start on the Libertys social on 8th June.
Hope to see some of you in Golds Room later on, after i have had my warm bath and a bit of a rest with my lovely Silver.
And also a very personal thanks to playfulsx, Lilly and Maturecouple54. My house looks like the Chelsea Flower Show. Liz and Gord, Silver is still grinning over his trophy.

Well what can we say that has not already been said. To start we have to say how wonderful the entertainment was,so much better than just a disco.
The songs that Gold sang were excellent and Silver should be on the stage more often (sweeping it) joke apart he was brill.
Thanks to all on table 7 who were lovely and where all of you made us welcome.
Special thanks to Mr Mrs Funpair who we made a instant conection with and spent the evening laughing and joking at ourselves :lol:

what can i say the Tamworth social was just brilliant from start to is the second social i've been to organised by gold n silver and they have both been top notch do's..Of course the entertainment was fantastic the vent dummy..wow he was good...lol.

You both put your heart and sould into last night and I can assure you I would not wear a pink sequined dress for just anyone.
All round you excelled yourselves building on previous socials.
I sat at a table full of lovely peeps and how glad was I to meet all of those attending - I am sure though I didnt talk to all - but it was close.
Despite the nerves Jaykay and I had a ball.
