Ice skating - Sheffield - Thurs 6th April

OK, here goes..............
It's the first time I've organised anything like this so please bear with me, I am after all blonde AND female!!! lol

After speaking with the lovely Alexandra, I'm taking over organising the ice skating evening which will be on Thurs 6th April in the evening with possibly a few drinks afterwards.
The venue is not too far from the train station or motorway so is easy to get to and here are a few prices and details:

It's easier to wobble in stilletoes than my own shoes - a la Essex Munch II - maybe I ought to try it on skates :shock:

i've not skated for about three years, used to go to bradford regular and had a few lessons but was never very good. got some (much needed ) protective equipment and some skates.

so, so long as this site promotes safe skating practices and it's okay to use protective equipment then i'm up for it.
if your concerned that you don't yet know me, i will be attending the wigan mini munch in march after which you should be able to get some pretty bad reports about me from others :twisted:
personal preference would be either the skate and dine @ or the pub/restaurant after skating
don't know what april will be like as two weeks easter hols somewhere in there and i may/may not be away part of that time, if you can possibly avoid wednesdays i will try and fit in with any mon, tues or thurs you pick

Right - date to be fixed for Thursday 6th April. I need to keep an eye on the numbers in case we have to book as a party (and hopefully reduce the price a little!!) but I'll keep you all up to speed regarding that.
OK, so far we have:
Dambuster - poss - it'd be great if you could make it
Alexandra - def - has to be there to hold everyone up!!
dracae - def - I'm sure I can find someone to vouch for ya :twisted:
DLohn - sorry honey. If it goes well, I'll organise a weekend one especially for you kiss

There are a few more people joining us so should be able to get the numbers over 10 to get the reduced rates.
If anyone needs more details or would like to let me know their preferences as to eating/drinking after the skating (that is if there are enough of us still in one piece!!) feel free to PM me.
