As it say, is it worth me trying to hold a private party at my house for couples, single female and males..... or do you think it would be a non starter
your feed back would be much appreciated
Matt
You never know till you try! Personally I would never go to a party organised by someone I don't already know, but there are lots of people here and you might find people who do want to come along. My advice would be to post here in LMU, but do it with LOTS of detail - about yourself, mostly, so that people get a good sense of who you are, but also about the party (dates, area, and what you're expecting to happen and why your party would be worth coming to smile)
If you don't get a good response, come and spend some time joining in with threads in the Lounge, come along to a social, and once you know some people you'll probably find it much easier to organise a party.

i believe a chappy on here, does arrange parties quite often and im told quite succesful , hes single but like cocoa said he is known, with known comes trusted, get your self known, attend a few munches socials etc, it pays off in the end....
then again what kind of party were you thinking of organising, the answer is always as obvious as you may think....

I dont see why not, anyone can organise pretty much anything they want around here & get takers for it these days
its not easy but its possible.

You might try asking advice from some of the members who have held private parties before and get some tips from them.
Good luck
You dont stand a cat in hells chance until your VERY well known and that will take a long time.
