with there being so many time wasters out there, anyone got any tips on how us honest genuine people can :
1 : prove that I am genuine
2 : check that they are genuine and will hopefully turn up.

This is a whole thread about this very subject somewhere, if I get a minute I'll look for it.
The conclusion was, I think, that there is no real way of sorting out the dross from the gold. People (well blokes really!) can come in here and pretend to be someone else, arrange to meet others and then not turn up.
We did consider a 'shame' board but that would be so unfair - genuine reasons are sometimes to blame - but be reassured that the PM function will be widely used to warn others of the serial timewasters.

It really galls me that guys let lovely people like this down. Personally I would love to meet a couple like this but always feel a little "unworthy". Perhaps I should start replying to the ads because I would certainly turn up.
