Meeting/Munch for London newbies and First-timers May 22nd

This is a private message to everyone who is coming on the 22nd!

If all goes well I may set up another meet at another location two or three weeks from now! You heard it here first! wink

Everybody will be invited and I can do with some advice regarding a possible venue, so pm me if you might want to come and suggest a venue in London, that is free, big and welcoming! :)
Anyway I will not be here on the site on saturday because I am at work so if you want to pm me about tomorrow now is the time!

Let me say a big thanx to Tikano for putting in a huge effort to get newbies like myself into the scene also thanx to Tikano for replying and giving me directions however so far I've still got work commitments that evening and may be only able to attend for an hour or so mad

ah well better than nothing.
Also as I'm a newbie can someone please explain exactly what a munch is ? redface

Well done for making the effort. As you are probably aware, you put in a lot of effort for little return. Would you mind letting us all know what happened? What sort of problems you had and what you would do differently if you did it again? It might help those who think organising one of these is easy.
At least you tried instead of sitting on the sidelines letting everyone else do all the work!

I had every intention of going but at the last minute, my builders (absent for three weeks) found a window to come finish fixing my kitchen at last. And seeing that I also had several other pressing 'domestic' issues, reality took over...
Sorry, Tkano... but the lot of a Munch organiser is tough. Ask Alphamale... come to that, where IS Alphamale?

Sorry, but I sent my apologies yesterday - not that I'd ever confirmed being able to get along. To be honest I'd hate to be under pressure to go to a munch (or anything else for that matter) - I do my best not to let people down but it's not that easy when you have a lot of other commitments.
Hope it all went well.

There were three people who turned up and six people said where coming! :shock:
I am not that bothered by it now! rolleyes

I think some guys did'nt come because either they were shy, or they were disappointed that they would not get some action on the night.
