Midlands Munch - 13th March

Hi Dawn, hope everything went well at the hospital and you are catching up on your sleep.
Further to Ringo's post above regarding Travel Lodge Rooms, please note that none of the mentioned hotels are actually doing the "tenner tastic" offers for March 13th (or they are all now sold out). The rooms are approximately Â£45 for that night. Thanks though Ringo, I did try, so your post would have been worth it.......... and it may still be worth it for some as, anyone trying to book at the original hotel Dawn PM'd you with, please note I also checked availability there and they are now fully booked. So, sleeping bags in the car for the rest of you......

They are??? Bloody hell.
Obviously I've not been able to check for a good few days so Ian was going to check how it was going on the way home from work tonight, you saved him the trip.
Now I'm even more nervous, thanks Ju evil

I never expected so much interest, now I'm worried we are all going to fit in the venue. Hope you lot don't mind being cosy!

Sorry guys but due to the recent publicity, I will not be sending out any information on the munch to anyone that has only just joined the site. I've had a few pms requesting this and I don't see as I have much choice.
I don't want to see my face on the front page of the gutter press or more to the point, my family and kids don't need to see it.
Unless of course you are known to a site moderator or SysOP then you will be considered.

Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee........................... We have booked a room, not at the hotel that was mentioned in the PM as they only have twin rooms left but one not far from it......

As we missed the London one (Bloody work!!) wonder if we could come to the Midlands one??
There will be three of us so would be nice to meet up with some of the 'typists' on here!! lol
Would like to stay over night so anyone with an address of a reasonable hotel within crawling distance let us know???

I have been to the hotel in question on Tuesday (cos somebody said it was full) and again on Friday (cos somebody said it was full). On both occasions this was found to be incorrect.
Admittedly they are now running low on rooms, but as far as I know there are some left. If I remember correctly 10 were free on Friday, but I know some have been booked since.

When I phoned today they said they had rooms but no doubles..... which is why we are staying at another hotel....
