I am arranging a social shopping evening on Friday 7th October at Tesco. The exact branch and opening hours will be forwarded to those who are interested nearer the time. This is purely a social evening for like minded adults to join in an activity and get to know each other. There will be members of the public at the venue so controlled behaviour is expected at all times – especially in the fruit and veg department.
The venue can accommodate a very large number of shoppers – 30 checkouts in all – so the only restrictions will be any that are chosen to keep the riff-raff away.
Singles are welcome at this particular venue, though you will find mostly couples in the main aisles. Any single females who would feel more comfortable going along as part of a couple, please don’t be put off. There are always plenty of single guys willing to hook up for the night. Either add your name and see what happens or I will gladly pair you up with a male chaperone for the evening.
Alcohol , refreshments and music are all available at a reasonable cost (RRP) and you can earn reward points too (all alcohol must be purchased before 11pm.)
Condoms are readily available in many varieties for those of you planning to move on to an after party in the carpark – so no excuses there guys!
Lets go shopping! biggrin

yeah
i get all the bargins out the warehouse first tho lol
As this is the first time I have tried anything like this I would prefer to keep to a branded store I recognise. I am aware that the store manager is open minded to the swinging community and is happy for us to shop there.
If this goes well maybe we can organised another shopping evening at your Asda!

whoo hoo cool i'll even iron my blouse instead of my polo shirt wink
the breads on me lol

Put me down as a deffo for the event
I believe that some people might think that since this is an organised meet in a vanilla environment, that it could be called a Munch. However, as it is a food retail department, this is not so. People have been known to take food from the shelves and consume it before reaching the checkout. this is commonly known as grazing (Ali, correct me if I'm wrong). Therefore, to save offending the staff, we cannot mention Munching, in case they think we mean 'grazing' and throw everyone out.
I hope that clears up any problems you may have, lol

Will this kind manager set up some tasting tables?? Try before you buy type thing?
A) line of males all washed, scrubbed and waiting to be picked
B) queue of females all ready to taste the lovely line up of males before making their final choice, heading for the checkout and then unwrapping their goods at home
I can just see it!

prior to the rush of newbies asking to come along, you should set up a similar event at Netto as an introduction

Somewhere just south of Nottingham.
If it's at a Tesco Express, you'd better limit the numbers. It gets a little cramped in those places.
Polo.
Should one bring one's own readymade list or is there a communal one?
Are there any criteria for being allowed to join this event or is it a first-come-first-serve basis? Will there be enough trolleys? What if I'm a veggie? Must I still follow you all to the meat counter or can I hang out by the fish?
So many questions.
Please clarify - I find your post a little under-informative.
Thank you.

And will the normal no quibble guarantees apply if we're not 'completely satisfied' with (or should that be by) our 'purchases'?? wink I think we should be told.
This has gotta be better than online shopping !!

Bring your own - everyone has different tastes and some have none at all. lol

Yes there is a criteria - but it is secret and subject to change at any moment. Other than that, selection will be on a 'how much I want to shag you' basis with some extras added to make the numbers up. rolleyes
(Club Card holders will of course get priority)

Oh Yes! biggrin

Leave the meat counting to me.
Don't hang out by the fish

Whilst I cannot give out the exact branch details yet.... I can say it is not an "express".
It is a very spacious venue with 30 checkouts (not including the tobacco/lottery tills).
I must point out:
Whilst this is a purely social meeting/event and entry to the venue is free - there may be a small deposit required for your trolley. No profit will be made by the organiser and your deposit refunded on return of your trolley.
Baskets as always require no deposit.

Now you've gone and hurt my wee, sensitive feelings   .
Besides, I'm sure it contravenes the European Convention on Human Rights wink .
