North-East Munch

okay.... after loads of running round like a blue ass i can finally announce the following...
The North-East is offically on!!!!! yey!!!!!........... biggrin

i have a date..... Saturday October 9th
i have a venue... somewhere in central newcastle (that is all i am telling you at this stage)
there are two ways we can do this... i can either stump up the money myself for the venue (which i don't mind doing) and have the meet... or we can do it with a disco and have a laugh and do it at for example Â£2 per head, of which we can cover the costs and the rest can go to charity.....
so if people can let me know what they want to do and i'll organise... if people want to help out in anyway possible i would love you to my last breath!! :D :D :D
i will get a list of hotels for people who are want to make a weekend of it... hopefully i will have that information in the next day or so...
if enough people want to come up on the friday as well, i am sure us locals can show you the delights of the bigg market and the quayside
anyway anyone who want to come then please let me know.. bigger the number, cheaper we get the venue..... and anyone who is insane enough to want to help feel free to contact me.....

just a quick note saying thank you to all the people who have offered to help and the amount of people who have said they they would be interested in coming... i am sure that when the other two big northern munches in manchester and edinburgh are out of the way, the focus will be well and truely on ours.....
i have decided to go with the meet and disco idea...... make it a really big night.. and if people are interested the england game i am sure will be on downstairs in the venue.. lol
rather than putting a per head value on the meet.. i will say it will be free (i am prepared to pay for everything if needs be) but ask people to contribute if as anything will go to over cost covering will go to charity... again, if anyone wants to suggest a charity then i am open to suggestions.......

We are a north-east couple - but does it really matter, anyway? The Munches are supposed to be social. Do you only talk to other couples in your local pub?
