great response guy's & gal's.....
as i suggested this, i feel duty bound to organise it.... no problem....
main obstacle is venue....any offers or suggestions for a daytime meet???? discretion is obviously required here !!!!!!!
i'm all for grabbing the iron whilst its hot( im sure someone will find a pun there), so lets suggest nnext tue 12th as a poss date, everyone who logs their interest here in the forum, will be sent a p.m. with the time and place, nearer the date....
let me stress now..... there are unfortunately a lot of time wasters on here... none of us regulars appreciate being let down, so only put your name forward if you are definately going to turn up...

others have tried and failed to organize this, it really does need one person with time and energy to organize it. I can't imagine how you can possibly get a venue for 25 guys (and a few girls) unless someone will allow their big house top be used.
but if you do arrange something Phil, please pm me. Would love to come 2 cum...

Can't do Tuesday as I travel and am in the South :-(. However, am interested in a North West meet during the week - though would prefer some female company too! :-)

I have been watching this thread since it was started in november as i was interested in joining in. I find it no surprise that you are no further on now than when you started. Everyone is eager to put there hands up to join in but no one wants to commit and decide a venue and time. You dont realise that you have two great women interested who will soon get bored and move on if you dont get your act sorted soon.

I am very interested provided its somewhere I can get to? Are we talking about north? Manchester?
Location-wise, you could try contacting one of the swing clubs and see if they have a private room.

ok folks, after several abusive messages and email's i have decided to hang up my hat and retire from swinging heven.....
i have been a member for several years now under a couple of different names and have seen it grow from a small fledgling site, to the huge phenomenon it is now...
i have met plenty of genuine like minded friends on here.... Jo, included( nice to have known you & lee sweetheart) but unfortunately this has also seen the site overan with idiots, perverts and cynics... i'm not sure which is the worst........
i started this thread with the best intentions( just over a week ago, incidently, dirty duo.. you know, it pays to have a bit of patience when forging friendships and organising meets in here !!!) so in my absence i hope someone picks upthe baton and can sort out the genuine people from the mindless time wasting idiots....
been a pleasure( quite literally) to meet so many nice people on here... too many to mention... you know who you are....
might catch one or 2 of you though other sources, ta ra for now .....

Thanks for trying - I would have struggled to make this coming (sorry....) Tuesday, but I did like the idea.

No point throwing your teddy out of the pram. If you got abusive PM's, then send the details to me or any of the Mods and we'll deal with them. As for this thread, it's been attempted before, not just for wank clubs, but for other types of meets, but if there is no date and no venue, no-one can plan anything and it just gets frustrating for those who want to go.
To have any successful meet the core elements are a suitable location and a suitable date. This had neither so was doomed, really, from the start!
I'll lock this to save any further comment on it, but if someone comes up with a date AND a venue, then I'll either unlock it or you are free to start a new thread for it.
Don't let a setback like this put you off, Phil. Stick around and enjoy what you can from the Site.
