Hi,
I've been wanting to go to a club for a while, but not sure where to go. I live in Croydon, just South of London, so would like somewhere easily accessible or easy to drive to (although may need a drink for courage so should perhaps stick to public transport!).
I am a little worried that it'll be very scary! Can anyone tell me, as a single female, are these places generally very intimidating?

Waste of time asking.....Destinys is around 40 miles from you and Xtasia nearer 120 miles! Very few on here actually READ what people post.....
Nearest to you would be South London Swingers at Penge.....have been several times as a couple and as a single.
Decidedly NOT scary.....you'll be fine!
Check you the club section on here and sort by location to see which ones are closest, then ask in for peoples comments on the ones nearest you to get an idea which maybe bedt for your first time
hi there hon i go to youtopia in scarborough its like a big house party and it is restricted to 2 single guys to each couple so not over run by guys!
its friendly and welcomeing have a look on club profiles as it is listed highly on there! if you wont more info then let me know, also no worry about haveing a drink they have bb rooms for people who wont to stay! and i can be there for some no strings surport!
Much like an experience we had a Destinys....except the guy getting obnoxious was the one behind the bar! But hey! each to their own. Simply pointing out that the original post asked for somewhere close, possibly reachable by public transport, from Croydon. Destiny's is hardly that. Don't worry, won't offer further help, I'll leave it to those who have opinions that they feel matter! Bearing in mind that on a public forum the only person who has a valid opinion is whichever supreme being the reader believes in.....all the rest of us are just "moving air". As to creeps stalking couples in clubs, I would be tempted to start a poll to nominate the club in which that never happens, would go there instantly.....mind you, the travel costs to a location that remote would be very steep!
got to recomend same as dippergt750 south london swingers. it was the first club we went to and after a few years and many clubs later still think you cant beat it. couples night last saturday of month we find best unless you want lots of guys then friday is for you. we will prob be there end of month. if your interested let us know and we could meet.
Being a single female I would highly recommended Abfabs near Heathrow. Have found the staff there really helpful and all the guys & couples that attend have been really friendly.
I feel completely at home at the club, actually its becoming like a second home lol.
Best thing you can do is find someone who has been to a club before and tag along with them.
I've also heard Club F is really good as well and I'm trying to sort out visiting there soon.
If you can make daytimes & don't mind a bit of traveling try kestrals near heathrow. Its same place as adfabs but house part not used daytimes & is nudist. staff & clients very friendly & can be a bit quieter than other places as it is daytime.
