Thanks Sarah, but I have looked at the link and R3tro's own site and still can't find their opening hours.

On their website, go to the events section, and click on the star for the day you are intending to visit. This shows the opening times for the night.

what do people really think of R3TRO?
The reviews are good - but havent been there myself. Wish the reviews would show the date they were made - as some could be ages old .
Seems like they have a coupel of girls 'on tap' if there's not much fun for the single guys to be had.
If I go Domno - I would love to meet Mrs Domino there , she's gorgeous

By all accounts they have paid women there, which to me isnt a problem, that does not bother me, what did kinda put me off is the fact that all the women are like under 21, attractive and a size 8, now i have to be honest with myself as a older woman whos nothing special and never going to be a size 8 is there really any point in me going if thats what i have to compeat against?

Don't need to,the website speaks for itself,paid women to keep the single guys happy...not the sort of swinging i'm use to...quite frankly would rather avoid these sort of "swingers" clubs.

I know what you mean about it not being a true swingers club Mr Powers, but maybe theyre just trying to ensure the single guys go home happy, and maybe it stops some of them pestering the ladies that do go there. Thats what I hated about Chams the once I went, it was like a herd of single guys going round in packs .

Of the 30 or so clubs we've been to the only ones where we've had real problems with single guys have been the ones with working girls. The guys seem to expect that, because some of the women are paid to be up for it with anyone, any woman there has to be.

no im not saying everyone likes size 8 19 year olds
but if thats the kind of women they have there im assuming the men that go like that type thats why they going, hence why i said would there really be any point in me going

se now ive always found it the other way round, i go to many clubs alone some with paid girls most without, if a club has paid women in there i tend to find the guys dont pester me so much because basically they dont have to, they have sex on tap so have no reason to follow the likes of me about, where as clubs without working girls there, well i feel like the sodding Pied Piper at times, only need a flute lmao

you lot are aware that we are talking about what was club 'so' ..which as far as i know is now retro.. there is a swinging heaven 'endorsed' review of this club, as club 'so' and the web link is still good pointing folk there, there is no mention of paid girls as part of that endorsement however i believe that may/ may not of been the case back then.. who knows , / cares but seeing as there seems to be views on this subject it may be worthy , as i said earlier reviewing the reviews , especialy endorsed ones! of said club/ clubs.. personally we wouldnt wish to attend club so.. if it were laiden with paid girls as folk suggest.. and to be honest after checking out the retro web site it does appear a little different from the run of the mill clubs..although im sure one or two of them have paid girls too..but they really dont stress it with 'teen of the day' and pages advertising the new girl of the night and so on and so on.. as mr powers said it seems to be a knocking shop on the face of it..
i have no issues with knocking shops as such i just wouldnt want to end up in one without knowing ..retro may make it obvious but while the review of so is still there, it is possible people could end up at retro without realising via the so website..

looking on the forum of r3tro it does appear they are now using club so! for parties it clearly states on the web site that the club is now under new management from the 5th may we did the review in jan 2009 we never noticed any single fems winking at the guys ,but as we didnt know everyone there one can never be 100% we get invited to the club under the new ownership we will be sure to ask the question,...do you pay girls to play with members? and as all of our previous reviews, our answers will be honest and as informative as possible.
