after seeing what happened last night i knew that this would probably happen... i have been debating all day about whether to go or not... and i have decided against going....

Well I'm still going! :shock:
I refuse to get involved with school playground stuff - and it ain't gonna ruin one of my rare days out :bounce: I'll sit in the tub and eat sarnies on my own if I have to :lol2:
Oh by the way - you can take your own alcohol if that's what you want to drink, soft drinks are supplied, but alcohol you have to take. Me and a bottle of wine always go as partners lol

Saying that tho, don't think it's a good idea to sink a bottle of whiskey in there :shock: might make you poorly confused

The reason we are not going to Rios ... FWIW .. is one of logistics ... we had committed to the Manchester Mini Munch prior to putting our names down as "maybe's" for Rios. After a conversation about logistics and such (the fact that I actually had a medical procedure earlier in the week and it might not be ideal to go to Rios) we are backing out.
It had nothing to do with the heated discussion last night and in PM Gailen and I have made "Peace" and I have explained my discomfort with things he has said (not with him personally ) and he has explained things from his side, we both agreed to stay out of the discussions now - job done.
We will still be attending the Mini Munch in Manchester.
I'm shocked at the assumptions made here and a little annoyed at having to explain myself. I appreciate that my post was a little unclear but surely people could have checked with me first?

might be an idea to bring wine and beer in a plastic bottle because they wont allow glass in the wet jaquzzi/swiming area' you would have to keep getting out and going to the bar to get refills from your botttle but i think i will bring some cava in a plastic same goes for glasses that you drink it out of too,of you there. cool

Chamoix - from what I know - if you leave your alcohol behind the bar area of Rio's they will put your name on it and are very good at keeping it chilled and just for you - so no worries about messing about with plastic bottles etc. I may see you there yet !!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

Erm...I feel really thick for asking this but...
I'm going to anyway...
Bearing in mind I have never met any of you before (and am really looking forward to doing so)...how am I going to recognise anyone in the boozer before we go in to Rios??!!
Seeing as most of the avatar piccies are either a) of bums or b) characatures I'm thinking this might be quite tricky. I suppose there is always the old trick of tapping the spoon on the wine glass in the pub to get everyones attention then asking loudly if anyone from Swinging Heaven is in there!!
Or of course those with bum avatars could be mooning ( | ) in the pub then it would be easy peasy lol

Well I'll be wearing a short denim skirt and a black low cut top.....and I'll be the one hiding in the corner snuggled up to a gorgeous guy..... wink
