hey
just found this site. seems that it could be very useful however was just wondering weather there are many student swingers out there or younger swingers (18-25). I have yet to take the plunge into the swinging world and would like to talk to some any younger people about their experiences.

Sorry to interup the thread but thought I would just give a little bit of advice from someone old enough to be your mother 
It might help if you all did a nice profile about yourselves, telling people what your likes, dislikes are, what your looking for, and hopefully letting a bit of your personalities show through!
Also, joining in with other threads on the forums (which I know you are doing) also lets others get used to seeing your names around and allows them to get to know you a little better.
Anyway, I will now sod off back to my old rocking chair and hope all you youngsters have loads and loads of fun :wink:

thanks for the advice 'wigan couple'. i hope non of us are coming off a bit immature and naive. i started this thread just cus i feel the swinging scene is extremely intimadating especially for younger men. although to be honest my experience has only come from websites similar to this. all i can sya is that as helpfull as people are (especially on this site) there is a certain negative stigma against young men (which is true for a lot of us). I was hoping to find others in my position, not have a go at the swinging community. Thanks for the help. if i could ask 'wigan couple' a question it would be- how would you suggest a single male take the first step into the swinging world'. i have tried the approach you suggested to no avail.

I would say that in my opinion the best way to get involved is to join in with the posts and get yourself known, then get yourself off to one of the socials. You will get the chance to meet loads of people in a social environment and that will always make it easier when you want to make any future arrangements.
You do have to remember though that this site seems to be more of a community than a quick shag site (sorry to be blunt) and most people (but not all) would rather know the people they are swinging with, so carry on posting as you are doing, let your personality and sense of humour show through and most of all, have fun

but doing Open University
Does that give me an inroad into the student swinging scene?
Can also bring many many years of alcohol intake experience, have eaten cold chinese curry for breakfast (before the days of microwaves....)
Could regale you with age old tales of the times when music came from flat pieces of black plastic which caused a needle to vibrate (no not a syringe so keep cool)
Yeah reckon we oldie students could help the youngie students a lot ..
