Why is this?
There must be someone interested in enjoying themselves with some discreet fun.
I have to travel to clubs like Liasions for to meet like minded people.

I agree, I think the North East is as dead as a dodo as far as swinging goes. I am a member of a couple of sites that have chat rooms and there hardly ever seems to be anyone from the N/E in. Now before some clever clog sayus "well I've never seen adventurer in the chat rooms" thats because my chat room name is neandy. I am in most days and there is hardly anyone from the N/E either in or willing to talk to a single guy.
Look in the Forums. When was the last time you saw any dogging activity except from a single guy. Or any offers to meet up, except from a single two clubs that I know of in Newcastle have had very mixed reviews and are so pricey for a new single guy that it puts you off. For example £90 for a first visit !
Compared to the activity that seems to be going on in the Midlands for example I'm afraid that the N/E must be the doldrums of the swinging world

Sorry to propagate the thread hijack 'cos this seems to be more and more resembling a cafe debate but I have to say that I've always been able to find some fun when I'm in the N.E. and in my view it's no different to loads of places all over Europe in respect to hooking up with like-minded folk.

:x i am a single guy... i have tried the clubs in newcastle... and if you more worried about the money of a first time visit as opposed to the actual swinging itself then maybe just maybe that is your lost...
as for SH.... it is a case definatly in the forums of "if you make the effort, you get the rewards" i spent time getting myself known... i made the effort to go to munches....
maybe the chatroom is different for the forums but how dare you tar everywhere with the same brush.. and because you are not having "success" whatever your defination of that is... doesn't mean there are not guys like me who are.. maybe you should look at the way you approach the site and the scene.....

Who's tarring who with the same brush ? and why be so aggressive ? We are all entitled to our own opinions. I'm very pleased for those of you who have had some success. Did I say that I had'nt ? Coz I certainly have. I have been a member of this site for about 18 months I think. I have no intention of giving a score out but who's counting anyway.

How do you know that there is more action elsewhere.
Also you've got the think of populations and geography - in the midlands there is a much great density of population and bigger cities / towns are much nearer to each other than up here.
We've basically got Newcastle Sunderland and a small town in Yorkshire (Boro!
) that is relativly near.
IWhy not simply jump on a train and get yourself down to the places you like the look of and get a piece of the action!?

no action in the north east,we have sen loads of it ,but we have adds on here all week and get a reply after we have come in ,then after last week we have asked for ppl with a profile to reply what do we get about 3 emails with no profile ,why did we ask for a profile because some 1 replied twice and used to different names to sighn off with when we asked why he says its a different name i use sometimes,and because when we went to rushyford the other night we were followed for a few miles by a single guy so comon how can ya trust some 1 ya dont know when ya are prepared to give them a free show , an they are not glad for free show they are the ppl who will end up killing the dogging game off so dont knock the north east just because ya dont score all the time ppl do get scared off by drive byers like all things they need to be worked at,how many swingers dont play first time meet an like to get to know peeps 1st,i know we have. then again m8 why dont ya use the same name in chat then ppl will get to know ,we are well known because we run our own group,and the club scene is buzzing in sunderland and do postings not single line replys

Sorry being a Newcastle fan that is a sort of dig we have towards Boro fans. Nowt in it but Boro used to be classed as Yorkshire before Cleveland was formed - along the lines of Boro Vs Newcastle not being a derby games etc.

If you'd managed more than 2 posts and didn't restrict your search to Newcastle, I'd suggest you get yourself to the Teesside Meet .... but there you go.

after reading the posts about the N E all I have to say is get out and see whats happeing, were a member of a couple of clubs, we play outdoors when weather allows we also meet via the net, and yes there is a lot of fun to be had, we also meet singles as well as couples, Mind I must admit there are 3 catagories of swingers weve met, and this is in my opinion, the Albert Steptoes, dirty old men. The barbie dolls, only want under size 14 britany spears lookalikes. and the genuine ones who accept you for what you are not who you are,

I've been swinging for around a year now and had some fantastic fun in the north east!!! i've met single men, couples and single females (although I'd love to meet more, there is a lack of them around)
So don't slag it off just cause you haven't been successful! Just try to stand out from others! If I put an ad out, I generally get 50-100 replies, you've got to stand out from them....think about it! xxx
