A big thanks for fun at 'SPARKLE'

After waking up with what feels like a bear has come into the hotel room during the night & shat in my mouth, I would like to express what a scream I had at last night's 'SPARKLE' event held in Manchester.
I met a pletherer of folk both old faces & new ones & at least I can put faces to names on here now.
The highlight of the day for me was Jas (from Jas - Tim) who whilst dancing closely to a gay man for some apparent reason he shouts 'MY GOD GIRL YOU HAVE GIVEN ME WOOD!'.
So thanks all for an awesome day (& Bluexxx for organising it) & I cannot wait for the next meeting to see you all again.

thanx everyone that was there,I had a really nice time (apologies for turning up so late) nice to meet people and put names to faces,,thanx to slyde for looking after me,a nicer nutcase you could never meet,,(did you turn her mate,has she swung t'other way),rachel,(who is far too beautiful for my heterosexual mind),and my apologies to vix,,(I didn't say your harley sounded like a tractor with a broken exhaust I said all harleys sound that way to me),,and lastly thanks to the group of tranny's who wouldn't leave my bike alone outside the kebab house and kindly snapped my throttle cable for me (really must ride home at 17mph on tickover more often,it's such fun)taaa very glad biggrin

Wicked weekend, eh?
Reese did wake up this morning and announce that his arse hurt!
We did leave him "alone" for a few hours, in the hotel, when he went for a "sleep" mind. :shock:

Thank you all for attending and making the weeks of keeping the thread updated worthwhile lol

:lol: :lol: :lol: . This was another one of those events where people travelled from all points of the country, North, South, East and West, to get together. Once aagin it is proved to me that SH is not just a website :lol: .
I had a super time, even though we did get the time of Dr. Reid's lecture wrong and turned up just as he was turning off his last slide rolleyes

:roll: . Nuff said about my organisational skills - and to think that in my "normal" life I have to always remember times of lectures :roll: :roll: :roll:
The evening involved trawling round several bars - yes MikeNorth, I agree that the music is always a tad too loud (What am I saying, I'm not even middle aged :shock: ). We did lose several people along the way - hope you had a good time regardless smile

. We had a look in at the Miss Sparkle event, but for us sat at the back we couldn't hear a bloody thing sad

.... next year all you Sparkle organisers if you're reading, get a louder mic :) .
The dancers among us (not me!) strutted their stuff very impressively in Manhatten, I might just add ... :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
Finally on a "down" note, those of you that were on the list but did not turn up and who I have still not received apologies from, your loss, you missed another good night out, and your failure of manners means that you are not invited to any future events, social or otherwise, that I organise.

Many thanks Bluexxx for organizing this event. I had a splendid time and once again it was a pleasure to meet all the gang that assembled for this great night out in the village. This was my first visit there and it seemed like every trans-person in the land had gathered for the day. I was well impressed with the village itself, the variety of venues and the price of a decent 12" pizza, with all the toppings.......excellent value! cool

Many thanks to Judy for letting me stay over in her hotel room, for which I am very grateful. Also to Rachel Lane for being my travel companion.
It was lovely to meet for the first time SexyScotCarol, Blue Eyes, Mr & Mrs NWcouple, Z3D, NWfreckles, WildRose & TheStag and also SlydeWOOSH who is one of the most friendly, funny and entertaining people you could hope to meet.
I thought the dancing was a particularly memorable (not that I was dancing much), but it was such a pleasure to see the likes of Jas, Satin and Slyde having a right old rave up. I think most of us got up on the floor for YMCA... which was a hoot!
So thank you to eveyone, you are all such great company to be with and I look forward to seeing those of you who will be at the Notts munch. biggrin

great to meet you guys/gals/ trannies on Saturday, both myself and wild rose had a memorable night, not least when we said our good byes and wild rose found out exactly what its like to have Vix rubbed on her chest !!!!! ( and she really recommends it ) i wont go through the list but everyone was real friendly especially as we hadnt planned on meeting you all, wish we could put a few more names to faces ,
