Sorry..... in advance to those of you who didn't have a good Bank Holiday weekend.... mine was absolutely sparkling....
My best friends horses took 3 firsts at the BSPS Championships..... Good friends popped over for dinner on Saturday evening..... and Sunday... friends long awaited for baby arrived safely and Monday was taken up with the purchase of a new car....
Just for once..... life is good...... the sun is out.... and i am smiling....
Again sorry to those whose weekend wasn't all they hoped... and to those whose weekend matched mine...... wasn't it great........ !!!!!

Not a bad weekend here, was my sons 14th birthday, so spent a lot of time with him, which is always nice.

Absolutely wicked weekend here, grinning but absolutely shattered here!
Stayed with a lovely friend of mine, clubbing 3 nights on the trot with friends, drinking, chatting, laughing, lunching, dancing, was in Pride Parade with said friend, Manchester Pride in Villlage, went on a ride directly after eating Pasta
Roll on next year!!

I had a wonderful weekend thank you.
All be it was a bit odd, my ex step son (if you can have such a thing) got married, ex number 1 was there, and me, and my ex hubby, his girlfriend etc etc and all behaved themselves much to my suprise!
Spent Sunday clearing up from the wedding party on the Saturday night, thanks to that special person for taking down the marque and taking up the rollong plastic floor stuff.
Spent Monday in the sunshine at home
All be it was a bit odd, my ex step son (if you can have such a thing) got married, ex number 1 was there, and me, and my ex hubby, his girlfriend etc etc and all behaved themselves much to my suprise!

The best (if that's the right word, maybe 'most impressive' would be more appropriate) drinking injury I ever managed was when I fell down a very narrow and steep flight of stairs after somebody had spiked my pint with a ridiculous quantity of vodka and then challenged me to down it - I slipped at the top, bounced once on my arse halfway down, and landed in a crumpled heap at the bottom. I had a four inch wide bruise straight across both buttocks and one of them still has a decently-sized dent in it over ten years later.
Personally I had a really quiet weekend, we'd planned to do some light DIY but the better half was too tired so we just chilled out instead, which was fine by me.

On Saturday I did lots of walking (and eating) around Covent Garden, Leics Sq and Soho where I bought a sexy faux leather 2 piece outfit which will go great with my boots I even booked a venue for the London Munch in March 2006 :lol:
On Sunday, I did a bit more mooching (and eating) in Covent Garden and went onto Camden where I did lots of window shopping, people watching and then bought a black PVC dress
On Monday I went to the Notting Hill Carnival which was just brill !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The fact I had fantasic company (
) was also a big big plus. :happy: :happy: I now another weekend just like the one I have just had - NOW please.
