Who else has done something really daft in a fit of absent mindedness?
Here is something I did a few years ago that still makes me laugh.
I made a pizza base then made a sauce to go on top, then heated up the oven. Then I bent down and opened the door of the washing machine and tried to put the pizza in!!!
It took a second or so before I realised what I was doing. What an idiot?!

Anyhooo about 15/12 minutes later I looked at my phone and noticed I had a missed call ... so I returned the call, only to realise when she answered that I'd already spoken to her about 20 mins before :doh:
