That's Mina Anwar (Constable Habib) and she's definitely Lancashire not Yorkshire. The IMDB records her as born at Church, near Accrington. I agree though, lovely accent!

as a londoner initally, i should love the lahnden accent, but to be honestn a female geordie accent is my favorite...makes my knees go just thinking about it.

I love the novelty of different accents, so almost any regional accent does it for me smile .

Regarding overseas accents, French & German are a real turn-on.
As so many ladies have expressed a preference for Irish accents, I might just fire off a load of PMs tonight and invite yez all to phone me up for a little chat. I talk dirty in Irish (Gaelic) too wink .

Irish definitely, Scottish too. Have some that don't appeal to me but if I got to know them a bit and fancied them anyway it wouldn't make any difference.
I could mention one evening (at a Madonna concert several years ago) of standing next to an absolutely drop-dead gorgeous blonde who I was all set on trying to chat up when I realised that a) the big well-built bloke standing the other side was her husband (not that it made any difference him being big), and b) she had a very strong Texan accent that just didn't appeal to me.
