Advert replies

I always reply to those who contact me but often find the contact then stops. Why? It takes no time to be polite and say no thanks

Sad fact of swinger life. Many people seem to forget their ettiquette about replying after someone has bothered to write to them. All replies and especially those from single guys deserve a reply if you are a couple or whatever. We always ask for a polite 'no-thanks' if the recipient is not interested. It usually works but......

Some people get bombarded with responses and they choose not to reply unless they are interested.
I know people who are very specific in their adverts regarding the person they wish to meet. For example a certain location, being single and being able to accomodate etc. Those people who ignore these criteria and reply anyway, should they get a response?
There is now the added issue that for those of us with SHREP active. Once two pm's have been exchanged, then you can be shreped. Imagine the scenario
person 1..... can we meet
person 2..... no thanks
person 1..... your loss
person 2..... dont be so rude
person 1.... negative shrep - time waster -

well thats a crap system then.. two mails and you can have negative shrep?
had no idea about that .. never got to grips with shrep anyway.. the two mails may have nowt to do with swinging..??? and the system positivly encourages people not to reply to contacts.. is this right?

seems about right to us as that is how we reed it as well.

Thanks for all your , I was referring to the situation where someone has replied to my ad and requested more information to which I have replied. Then silence.

Negative shrep? But you dont have to display it anyway do you so does it really matter?
Should we not just take is that in Swinging a non reply is just not interested? We have had some pretty blunt rebuffs recently. It does not bother me but I can see Sometimes Mrs Tweeky has a little quiet moment. Maybe its best just not to know wink

does negative shrep , if not shown in text, still not get reflected in that score towards the top.. honestly know nowt about this shrep malarky ..
