Hi all you lovely people.......our question is this .....does it annoy you when people dont put in their profile the age range of people they wish to meet ?
Having said that, when we checked our profile this is something we failed to do. smackbottom

Would you prefer it if peeps did this or not ? Nucouple xxx

Maybe those that don't put a preferred age range for their contacts are not too bothered about age, and are willing to judge people on other criteria.
Also, sorry but I fail to see what your post has to do with ageism.

When I had searchable criteria in my profile, I used to get regular pm's from random people from the wrong side of the country with nothing in common just trying their luck. Since I stripped my profile down to the bare minimum and removed any useful info, the chancers have stopped mailing me.
Those good people I've met in the chatrooms or in socials know all about me, and what I'm here for. (Although some may wish they didn't).
Something to be said for good old fashioned interaction. wink

^This^. If someone has a strictly specific age range and would not consider anyone outside it then yes, they should probably put it on. Personally I prefer to take people on their merits and have found that I've sometimes been surprised to find myself attracted to people who did not necessarily fit what used to be a fairly narrow aesthetic ideal. If I'd dismissed someone out of hand purely on a strict criteria kinda basis ( not specifically age related ) I'd have missed some rather interesting experiences. Quite an eye-opener for me that was. My criteria has become somewhat broader than it once was because of that.

On the subject of the post rather than its content, I presume ageism exists, it exists in my head for a start! And, since I am always rejected, I believe it exists in everyone else's head too.
However in real life it doesn't exist in my head or in others, (thank goodness). In real life one gets the oportunity to display wit and personality, to say nothing of a sexy head. This brings improved chances in many areas lol

I think an age on the page hides enthusiasm for life and becomes a big barrier. It's so much the case that age, like face pictures, hide personality and character very efficiently. They do however show a big cock well, but regrettably that's not something I can boast either... redface

If they dont mind what age the people they meet are then its fine.
I have an age range on my profile because when i first started swinging i met men aged from 23 to 70 and very soon found out i preferred the ages stated on my profile or roughly those ages, just makes life simpler to have it written on my profile although i still get requests from men far from the age range stated smile

I get more annoyed at those who have an age range then contact us even though we are outside of it, we will not meet anyone if we are not within thier age criteria, we are not hypocrits and don't meet those that are.
I don't want to be "the last boy picked for the team because there was nobody else left"
I do prefer people to put an age range on thier profile if it is important to them because we will not contact anyone whose criteria we do not match and this saves thier time and ours.
But it is not an "ism" it is a sexual preference, I seriously doubt that those same people don't have friends outside thier age preference for having sex be it younger or older, it is the same as size, colour, height etc, some things just don't do it for you sexually.
