LOL we've just finished having a conversation about that ... only ours involved spiders with painty feet ???? the concensus was that you only worry if the painty footprints are across your face and stops at your mouth lol.

I was thinking about it the other night. Jesus Christ, the thought of that scenario makes me feel incredibly ewwwwwwwww :scared:
I've gotta say, Ive never seen the "painty feet" but then again, I don't look at them long enough to notice it :lol:
The Mr has just seen me put this and said the reason the physics of gravity doesn't work in this case is the ceilings has a hook-and-eye type effect on them. there's also little fibres aswell. He said he's not 100% but almost sure cool

Spiders (not that I like talking about them or even thinking about them!) - How do they get from one place to another with their webs?
I mean: I've seen loads of spider threads/webs horizontal (for instance, across a pathway....you get a face full of web)....how do they do it?
Do they leap from one bit to another, trailing their horrible webby stuff?
I know they can get to other places once that first "bit" is spun. I know they can kinda jump downwards and then travel upwards via the web but it's the horizontal thing that gets me.
Gone shivery now, talking about the little sods!

No honest, they do.
They squirt out a single strand of a thread until it becomes big enough to act as a wing and then they fly.
Spiders are very small amd light so it doesn't take much.
