Always worries about meeting other couples

I am not sure whether I am the only one but as a few meets are always few and far between and I always feel awkward and nervous.
Dont know whether it could be low esteem or just whether we are just getting into the swinging.
I have also found that because of family commitments it also makes things difficult redface

I think that's natural and probably a good thing - it means you are less likely to rush into something which, in the cold light of day may not have been right for you.
And for all the bravado that some people show, i suspect that many, if not most feel the same as you.

nope, we feel the same hun, youre not alone.
We've got 4 kids so cant accom, and its difficult to arrange the time to go to a meet (but not impossible)
and because me and mr bone are....on the large side LOL, its even more difficult to get a meet, but have faith and keep trying, its natural to be nervous, but as long as you have fun, thats what its all about.
I think chatting on here is a good way of finding out that your feelings are perfectly normal lol

and there will always be someone who had experienced it before.

God first meets are the scariest things. its like the first part of an interview :scared:
that said, two minutes into the meet and you really will wonder wtf you were so worried about, dunno

We know where your coming from Maymarc.
And its not just the first time Pete...
...met with a guy whom we've met a few times before and spent the day leading up to said meet chasing the butterflies away and explaining the nervous grin spread right across my face - but thats all part of it too isnt it? the selection of emotions/feelings, before during and after :grin:
I guess if you can enjoy all that...it'll be so worth it!!!!!

Im excatly the same I get really nervous in the days leading up to a meet, the worst bit for me is actually walking into the hotel/bar/pub etc :scared:. I think it a healthy kind of nerves though. We to have young children so are unable to accomodate and baby sitters are hard to come by.

Yes we all have different commitments, it's all part of being 'grown ups', but we should all allow for them.
Also being nervous is perfectly normal. I still get slightly nervous with people I've met before.
Perhaps I'm in the minority, although the BBW room would support my view, but people who are '....on the large side' can be very sexy too.

Yep, I'm another that gets nervous aswell. We used to regularly meet with another couple and I still got nervous each and every time! dunno

I get nervous going to socials aswell. I think I just get nervous round people :dunno:
We had a party at ours a couple of weeks ago and I was going round saying to people "I'm sorry if I don't get to speak to u but I'm dead nervous".
It's always nervewracking when u first get into this swinging lifestyle but as for u wondering if it's self-esteem, for me I think it's more confidence related as to why I get nervous. I mean, I don't even like to start the ball rolling, hence why meets end up starting 3-4 hours after the meet has arrived :shock:
I think I'll shut up now before I put even more ppl off meeting us :gagged:

lol, thats why i LOVE this forum, people are very honest and frank on here, and you find out that you are nnot the only one with these feelings or questions that you may have.
And no matter how silly or trivial you think your query may be, there is always someone (usually more than one) member willing to help or sympathise and offer advice or a comforting word biggrin

and BBW-Lover thank you for your lovely compliment....your a bit of a hotty yourself... lol
