An ad in bad taste or not?

Ok, so is it bad that I am actually considering putting an ad in the Meets forum looking for someone to wine and dine me on New Years Eve.
Is it bad that I want to be so blunt about wanting to be treated to a good old fashioned date ... i.e. nice restaurant, wine after, hold the doors open blah blah ... the whole nine yards.
Bottom line is New Years Eve is nearly here and I do NOT want to be sitting home getting all maudlin about the fact that I am here and single. Yes, I love being single but it does get a little hard around the holidays.
Anyway, I guess I want to know ... would it be in bad taste to do it and there be no up front promises of any 'action'. Not saying there wouldn't be but don't want to mislead and promise it.
Your thoughts? ( and not too much piss taking lol )

If you are clear in what you want (and you seem to be!) and honest then there's no more you can do!
Good luck with it btw, but I am sure you won't need it ;)

new years day is my birthday but i usualy celabrate it on new years eve cos most ppl dont remember new years day rolleyes

I don't think its bad Ab... New Year must have to be the second most loneliest time of the year (to Xmas day) and if you don't like being alone then go for it. I'm sure you will be inundated with replies and your New Year will go off with a bang! (oh how corny was that??!!! bolt

Can't see how in anyway an ad can be considered bad taste.
Refreshingly honest in my view.
