As an ex-pest control operative I have plenty of close encounters of the hairy type that I could scare the pants off you with but as thats where you probably want you pants anyway I shant it to say grapes are even more spider friendly than how about a SCORPION story!!!! I worked in the carribean for 9 years and let me tell you when a householder has a scorpion (or a big spider) in their bedroom you are locked in and not let out unlil it's been found and dealt with.!! Mind you I did get locked in with some nice two legged hairy monsters but not often enough by a loooong chalk!!
wave Can I hear the big spider story too??
I'm not remotely scared of spiders thankfully (hubby is terrified of them, hows that for role reversal!) Anyway, I have a friend who is phobic beyond belief. She was really late coming to pick me up one night which was very unusual. I'd been trying to call her for ages, getting no answer. Eventually, she pulled up in the drive in floods of tears and all she could manage to utter was the word boris LOL As she lived alone at the time I told her to take me to hers before we went out and I'd dipose of the critter for her so she unlocked the door and ran straight upstairs out of the way. This spider had been above the kitchen door trapping her in there for over an hour, she didnt dare go through the door as she was convinced it would fall on her.
To be fair, It WAS huge, even by my standards. surprised
I caught it in my hands and walked out of the front door, shes shouting through the window, 'dont drop it in the garden, take it further away' So, I walked into the street with it, opened my hands and let it go. By this time shes screaming at me to stand on it but I couldnt even see it so I pretended LOL
But... It didnt end there.....
One calm friend later we're happily driving along chatting when just behind my knee I felt something tickle my leg. I didnt dare say anything cos I knew she's pile the car lol so I had to sit for a further 10 mins knowing that this beasty was in my jeans!! As soon as we got to the pub-straight to the ladies lol It scampered over the floor and I had to catch it once again, the thought of my mate walking into the loos and seeing it again was just too much to take lol
Im brave with spiders, put me in a thunderstorm and its a whole different story! So, I can rescue you all from spiders, if you can protect me from thunderstorms!! LOL wink lol

Hi all, this is my 1st ever post...
Once upon a time, I spent several months staying in a beach hut in Goa.
I was saving some 'seeds!' In an empty cigarette packet on my bedside table...
This is very long and I need to sleep... Let me know if you want to here the story...x

Grrrrr! smackbottom get on with it! lol
I knew a guy was whos dad was completely paraltysed so he spent most of the remainder of his life in his bed. One day i was walking past his bedroom,i glanced in and saw this HUGE spider on his face, it was the biggest spider i have ever seen. Being the incredibley masculine guy that i am i freaked out when i saw it, stood on a chair and screamed for my friend to get it off his dad, ahem. Imagine that though, having that spider on your face and not being able to do anything about it!
