Are Swingers Sites a waste of time?

I/we've met loads of people off this site socially, arranged club meets and private meets i have never though this site was a waste of time, you get out of it what you put into it, to many poeple think they can just join, place a add and the shags will come running, its never worked like that for me and doubt it will for anyone else either lol

Sorry to be abit thick but what is a timewaster dunno

A timewaster comes in many forms, people saying they want meets but really just after pics/a perv of you on cam lol someone who just gets off on talking about meeting but never does, someone who arranges a meet and dont turn up etc basically someone who wastes your time lol

We too enjoy ourselves at a swingers club, but believe us, its nice to get to meet people from off here in the clubs biggrin

Even if the people dont turn up or are not your type then you are in a club and can enjoy yourselves anyway lol

We think theres room for both the site and Clubs and we are sure there are people just doing meets at clubs and little ellse on this site but if they are happy who are we to make judgement?
If this Site isnt what you are looking for then fine, like we said we hope you find what you are looking for

Without swinging heaven we would never have had our first meet ... first social or first munch so no I dont think sites such as this are a waste of time

I'm surprised you've got the time to go to clubs, thought you just wanted people to drop out of the skies into your lap. It would save you a lot of time.
In my view this is the best swingers site around, but just like life in general you have to put in a little effort to get any reward. As mentioned by others going to socials, and munches, talking to people in the chatrooms and posting in the forums are all useful ways of getting to know people and making friends.
However this is obviously too much like hard work for you.

yep in the last 3 months and next couple of months i have been lucky if i have had 1 weekend a month free, busy doing socials, munchs, camping trips, bbq's meets all with the swinging community

Tut - silly Earthy - it's because they've been so busy swinging at clubs! They just felt the need to come and be a little abusive to all those who they consider 'not genuine'. Because of course, we're not on cam and don't go to clubs so we must be wankers.

Tut sill Earthy - it's because they've been so busy swinging at clubs! They just felt the need to come and be a little abusive to all those who they consider 'not genuine'. Because of course, we're not on cam and don't go to clubs so we must be wankers.

We don't find them a waste of time no!
we have met a few bi single females and even more bi female couples and even more guys with no problem out of the ordinary.
we don't go with the cam rule though, we ask for pictures, then on the meet, if the person/s were meeting ain't the person on the picture.. we just walk away.. simple! ( actually only ever happened twice in the time we been swinging )
we visit clubs also ( been to 4 different clubs numerous times ) but much prefer the web but thats our preference, it depends on what your looking for and only you can decide that.
Maybe all you need is to recalculate the way you use the web?

To be honest that sound really aggressive and it would put us off meeting people if they had this sort of attitude.
So what if people dont have a cam there are always telephone calls or if they dont put on a cam or get a phone chat sorted within a quick time frame for u just block and delete them.
As for swinging sites being a waste of time, as far as we are concerned this is not the case we have met some fantastic people from this site who we will remain friends with for a long time.
You mentioned u had been members for 3 years tho ur profile says u joined in 2006??
Unless you have been "members" of another site you haven't probably given this one enough chance to get what you want out of it?

I'm struggling with that one too....I didn't have a cam for years, only because I never got round to getting one , purely because it wasn't that high a priority for me. I know there were a few people who thought I wasn't genuine when I said I didn't have one......but I just thought "oh, well, their loss". I only have one now because a lovely lady from here gave me one she didn't want ( kiss

) otherwise I reckon I still wouldn't have got round to getting one.
oh and I'm going for Siberian hamster :giggle:

I've not thought of this site as a waste of time, it takes up a bit more of my time than perhaps it should but maybe that's because I've made friends here.
I've come to know and like so many people on here, I've met some great variety of characters and that can't be a waste of time. Jay and I have had some great horny chats and meets and again that can't be a waste of time.
The people who moan about this and that and say that this site does nothing for them are IMO a waste of time.
