I don't expect this post to be answered by many but its always worth a shot!!!...After being treated pretty badly (actually VERY badly) over the past few months by the man who i thought was the love of my life.....Are there any really good single men left in the world???... I'm pretty self sufficient (not needy), love great sex, great cook, good sense of humour, have a great job, not bad looking, love sports (esp football), good personality,fit, kind,caring....(anything else..look in profile).!! So, my questions are......Where am i going wrong?.....what else do i need to do??? ...Why can't i find a REALLY good man???? and Why am i writing this at in the morning????????...(prob because i have a big empty bed upstairs waiting for me)..... :cry:

I know how hard it is when you go thro' a break up... and altho' I am anti- willy. I am not anti- men. And I know that there are lovely lovely men out there.... probably wondering around looking for the lovely women.
I have "met" some lovely men on here and loads more in real life.
stay positive and leave these feelings in the past.
and a trick that I have found is to place some pillows on the other side of the bed... and take a hot water bottle to bed.. Then the bed becomes the right size and your side is warm.

I've been on my own since my hubby left last year and yes, there are many nights where the bed's too big for one and I get fed up with my own company ( I felt very lonely and miserable last night myself hun )
On the plus side, I can come and go as I please, meet who I want, do what I want and can perv on here all day long if I want to ! I'd just say don't rush into another relationship too soon, enjoy your freedom and get out and have some fun, even if it's just meeting people for coffee/drinks.
and of course, you've got all of us to talk to if you need us

I found one hunni. I had a very nice meet last weekend after he replied to my ad and didn't just stay for coffee but the whole night and boy did I need sleep the next day ! :shock: :twisted: So yes, there ARE nice single men out there, just keep looking hunni

Hiya, I sympathise with your pain. It's not easy when you have been hurt & let down. The thing about swinging is that it is focused on sexual fun & not about a relationship. I'm not saying that is a good or bad thing, it's just different.
I have been around the swinging scene for more years than I care to remember, I see it as a way of finding the sexual freedom that I seek. Yes there are many nights that I find myself alone & aching for the one person who is miss dearly, but in all honesty I dont think I'm the kind of guy who is suited to monogamy.
All I can say is that time is a great healer......if you want it to be?
