Yes I am, all fed up!
Is Scotland in it? I am going to lose my wife till they get knocked out. Then she will support anyone who is playing England.
fed up with big brother too but thats coming back.
telly is going to be off a lot this month
I am fed up with the constant adverts....
And the merchandising!!! Tescos here has flags all over the place, stickers on the floor and even bread rolls with red crosses on them!!!
My Very Proud to be Scottish children are even more fed up!!(my son is wanting to get a Saltire to stick on the front door!!!) And they keep nagging at me for moving them south of the border as well!!! biggrin

I have a difficult decision to make ....which pub am I going to chose to watch the matches in ??
Tis a shame we cant have a swinging pub for all us swinging fans :bounce::bounce::bounce:

what a brilliant idea. If your team wins, sex to celebrate with everyone 69position and if they lose, i'm sure someone will find a way to cheer you up hump need to run this idea past the wife now and see if that will make her more keen to watch it too...

It's the world cup fgs.
Once every four years....a massive sporting occasion.
Nowadays there are enough channels on Sky to watch if football is not your bag.
Stop moaning and enjoy and support the country of your choice....
Come on England.

It's a shit sport played by overpaid tossers.... I for one will be happy as soon as it's over. The collective ululation if England fail again, or, possibly worse still, the nauseating self congratulation of millions of instant soccer fans who only consume it via Sky and the back page of the Sun if England win will increase sales of sick bags in this household.
See your following me around again. lol
It is very funny how you always seem to pick my posts to reply too.
Funny I do not feel honoured, more stalked. wink
You do not like football....millions do.
You do not like Sky or the Sun, so obviously a hater of Murdoch.
As has been said already...there are plenty of other channels to watch instead of football, well there are if you have Sky.
Sky have the footie rights because you see that is how big business is run now. The one that pays the money gets the glory.
Still no doubt as an avid watcher of BBC2 I guess, you will be safe in the knowledge that only snooker is put on there and that has finished.
Still next Sat when Englands first game will be played, I am sure you will be locked away from all the excitement....
Come on England.

Awayman, you really are a miserable old c**t, yet again you quote Kent despite other's also defending the sport...okay so you don't like football, but do you have to be so fucking vicious to others who do...we are obviously not upto your level of intellect but you really are a bore, why don't you take a chill pill and stop following people around constantly ripping into them just because they don't follow your way of thinking.

What are you on about?
The hint of paranoia is very amusing. Of course I have Sky - some of my mates even work for them! I don't think any of my mates work for the SUn, but that's because we were outside Wapping while the scabs were inside. I hate what Murdoch is, not who he is - I don't know the man. I wasn't having a go at Sky, I was having a go at the sofa sitting instant fans who know the square root of nothing about sport and follow soccer as a kind of soap opera for the hard of thinking.
An avid watcher of BBC2? You do love these caricatures don't you? The only thing I regularly watch on BBC2 England is Later. Next Saturday? I'll be washing my hair I expect....
BTW, as such an avid fan, how many live England matches have you been to recently? Go on Kenty, fess up, who do you have a season ticket for?

That one snippet sums up exactly the type of man you are. I have not hear the word " scab " now for a few years. I reckon you are so angry because Murdoch kicked all your arses, and no doubt even with the help of your massive union at the time, it counted for jack shit...ya still lost ya jobs. But I hope the " scabs " as you so lovingly put it....kept theirs.
In answer to your question which really bears no resemblance to anything, I was a season ticket holder at Chelsea for 13 years, and over the years have been to at a guess 30 odd England games and that does not include the seven I have been to watching them abroad.....happy now?
You do not like football...so what? But is there really I mean really any reason for you to vent your bile at hard working people by calling them " hard of thinking " ? What's all that about?
Still I am getting used to your rudeness to be honest....water off a ducks back matey.
Come on ENGLAND!!!

My rudeness? I don't know if all the hard of thinking are hard working - it's a way of describing the infantilized way soccer in England is reduced to people who won't get off their sofas to actually watch a real game getting so worked up every two or four years by saturation media coverage that is banal at best and excruciating at worst.
Anger? You want to see it that way, that's fine. I have a long memory that's all Kenty, and where I come from it's once a scab, always a scab. Being a trades unionist isn't about what you do when we're winning, it's about what you do when the tide turns.
Lots of yesterday's and used to's in your fan CV Kenty - no decent soccer sides round your way for you to follow?

No...
Want to consider the way you talk down to people?
" Anger? You want to see it that way, that's fine. I have a long memory that's all Kenty, and where I come from it's once a scab, always a scab. Being a trades unionist isn't about what you do when we're winning, it's about what you do when the tide turns ".
Where you come from? What the fuck has that got to do with anything? What a medieval attitude to still have in 2010..."once a scab always a scab" really does sum up the man.
Lots of yesterday's and used to's in your fan CV Kenty - no decent soccer sides round your way for you to follow?
Used too and yesterdays because unlike your goodself I run a business that requires me to work long hours and weekends. My job also runs on a day to day basis so no point organising anything too far then I did go to the Mexico game recently...does that count for you?
I have done my dues to my football team and your nitpicking about when I did or did not go, is a pretty piss poor arguement matey.
You asked me when I had watched England and I told you but then used another sorry arguement.
Ya don't like footie fine, so don't watch any of it...it seems that there are many here who have Daveys green eyed monster outlook on things. lol

Now I am not bickering for the sake of it with you, it is too hot and I have to go and cut my 170 foot long garden on my new sit down lawn mower. Hopefully will get a nice tan too in the process.
Awayman, Kenty, Powers - do not post in this thread again. You may be fed up with each other, well now everyone else is fed up with your bickering. Pack it in or go elsewhere.
Mal
I quite like watching England play but not that fussed over of the other games.
I think its great that tons of people have something in common to talk about and get excited over

Yes, but what about the football dunno
Seeing Mal's post, I suppose I ought to refrain from commenting on the awayman/powers/Kenty scrap.
I USED to like football. Then I went to secondary school and was introduced to cricket and rugby and could never take football seriously again.
In response to the title of this thread - I was fed up with the world cup weeks ago and can't wait for it to be over.
Thank you to those posters who mentioned the fact that England won a World Cup last week - though sadly it was scarcely reported.
Look, I DO realise that many millions of people enjoy football and I have no wish to spoil their enjoyment. I shall simply make myself scarce for a month - though, if they won, I suspect that my patriotism would take over (well, it is 44 years since we last won it).
I wish England luck but I WON'T be watching.
Will
PS Heard the England World Cup song for the first time tonight. It includes the repetitive chant "Come and have a go if you think you're hard enough!" That can only be interpreted as an incitement to violence. Now that I do have a problem with. Why does football have to venerate violence? dunno I really don't think it does the sport any favours.

Lets get the steins, bratwurst, saurkraut and lederhosen out................and what a great summer it is going to be
