Well, are you? Yes, I know it hasn't started but we are fed up with all the adverts, TV, newspaper etc that seem to HAVE to have football in them whether in a big or small way.
Yes, I know the addage 'Football Sells' and it really is testament to the skills of the advertising industry that they can't come up with adverts that don't involve football or references to it. Does not take a lot of creativity to say "we'll have some football in it!" The worst one so far.....the one that ends in "Just in time for the football"
We are off to find an island with no TV, radio or newspapers!

i love it and am so looking forward to being able to watch football every day

i love the adverts too altho often im not aware of what they are advertising lol
iv tried to book annual leave for the one game im at work for but cant get the time off so il have to hope we can have a radio on somewhere !
to help build up the excitment with the children i work with we are doing a project about football and the world cup etc ... tis fun :)
and just think of all the crappy programes that wont be on telly while the footys on ... yeahhhh :)

who said anything about sky sports...kent stated that there are other channels if football isn't your thing, so if you cancel your broadband you could easily get a couple of sky packages out of it...i get the package for only ..and the reason is i make it quite clear to sky that they need me more than i need them!

well theres always freeview....still more channels than the main five.
The point is you don't have to be lucky to afford sky, no more than being lucky to afford Broadband.
and for the record, i don't have a contract with Sky, remember they need me more than i need them!

I have struggled for years to achieve the things I have now.
No luck just long hours and bloody hard work.
Plus as has been said..there is Freeview with loads of channels and five terrestrial channels to choose from.
Or should we all live like Communists where everyone earns the same and lives the same?
Then if that is a no it is a fact of life that people have some things whilst others do not....not my fault.
