From the SH Newsletter:
A must read book written by an SH member. Now you know we don’t like misleading site attention in the press. But this book was written by an active SH member who still uses and loves the site.
“My first date off SwingingHeaven, after Greg, might have been a keeper in my youth. His name was Anthony and he was a hottie..."
"My third date off SwingingHeaven was a beefy landscape gardener named Julio"

Does anyone else feel uneasy about this? I remember there was a huge outcry years ago, when there was talk of an incognito reporter (who was also a site member) being in our midst. And now SH have collaborated with a current member, and are also giving a discount to any member who buys the book!
Hmmmmmm... or are the references to SH just a ploy to increase sales?
I'd be uneasy if it gave my real name, job description, address and phone number but if not, no, not really. As long as it says I was great in bed, hung and handsome, that's fine.
Yours,

PS: Think I shagged the same landscaper wink
SHIT!
I've been usiing my real name all the ime... is that bad?
no, don't worry Cherry, I've changed your name.

lol
The male characters -
"...Anthony and he was a hottie. His biography sounded like that of a character in a porn fact, he could have starred in a porn movie himself. He was a policeman with a fantastic body and a big cock. He had thick, dark Italian hair that he swept off his forehead, long eyelashes, big white teeth, big eyes, and huge cheekbones."
"...Dave - his blue eyes twinkled under the street lights and he was the most amazing fuck. No sooner would Dave come inside me than he’d be hard again, and go for another round or two. I’d never met a man who could come four times in a row without stopping, pausing only to change a condom when it swelled too much with spunk."
"...a beefy landscape gardener named Julio, whom I’d meet at Rio’s on Wednesdays at 11am, two hours before his weekly client meeting. He was a cute guy in his late thirties, with dark-brown hair and a massive chest. He was about 6’4” and had a really thick cock that he loved having me suck. And he was great at oral in return"

All these characters sound strangely familiar - is the whole book based on Brucie?
This worries me deeply. Aside from anything else, someone is actually publishing that utter shite?
My cat could write better than that dire drivel, and he's incredibly stupid. He can't type, either.
Tell me, in chapter 6 does she fuck a handsome washing machine repair man with a large tool?
What's it called? "Swingers Cliches for Beginners and Village Idiots?" rolleyes
I rather like it... but then I need to get in the good books.
but not that book.
dubious
lp
so is thia a book, a propper book, that people can buy?
Is it published by SH?
Has the author permission?
(actually does the author need permission?)
was anyone asked?
or is that a silly question?

Surely that's not about the same book. The only thing that would make me not want to put that tripe down is running out of toilet paper.

And I dare say this will be that tin of angry worms I predicted!! :smile2:
Well I'm sure some will like it rolleyes and like anything in life people have a choice, either buy it or don't, or am I'm missing the point here.
For the record we did not play any part in the publication of this book and I'm sure if you look hard enough there's plenty of similar stuff out there, as the subjects open why not start here.

I haven't read it so can't really comment on the quality of it, maybe I should, although for me, a good book is more about how its written, I like a good plot with multiple scenarios that all come together at the same time rather than a one dimesional story, but we are all different in our tastes.
and as the thread says 'are you in the SH book' I'll try to kick it back on record by stating that I most likely wasn't.
So is there anyone else here that thinks they weren't in the book?

Me!
I trust the people I've swung with, almost without exception. I'd be horrified if I read about myself in a book such as this!

Of course someone is bound to like it, after all, millions of people read The Sun. It would appear that you've missed the main point entirely.
Yes, there's plenty of similar stuff out there- the link you provided is to stories written by amateurs. This is amateurish titillation masquerading as something else, and quite frankly the endorsement of it in the SH newsletter with the accompanying paragraphs was bound to open up not only DG's can of worms but also lead to some sort critique. And of course, what better place for it than a swingers forum where members can post messages, links and discuss anything with anyone.

I might of written the book before my operation and subsequent breakdown. Don't believe all you read about Thai ladyboys - It was an expensive mistake
I think some people should get out more if this twists their knickers and makes them lose sleep rolleyes
Where can I get Anthony, Dave's and the landscape gardener's numbers please and can anyone else verify them? :rascal:
