Are your neighbours on SH?

When we first joined here a few months back, we were seaching in photo adds and found a face and cock picture of a chap who lives only a couple of hundred yards down the road from us. :shock: Although not friends as such, we are on speaking terms with him and his girl friend (he had a single mans profile). Of course we have not said a word of this to anyone, it's up to him what he does with or with out his girlfriend, it's not for us to judge him.
We live a village of less than 1000 population and we found this discovery a tad uncomfterable, this is one of the reasons although not the only reason why we have not posted pictures as yet. redface

He is not our type so even if he didn't live in our village and he was single we wouldn't play with him. How ever even if he was our type and he was single he lives too close to us, for us to be comfterable with.
Have you ever found someone that you know on here? Would you swing with people you know in the vanilla world but found on here? Can people be too close distance wise for you to play with?

i know of at least 4 people within half a mile of me. one person quite literally lives 6 doors away. its great...we are all very discreet..so no-one except ourselves know about SH connection...but can make for great last minute fun..i mean not far to walk !!!
If everyone is discreet, i can't see the problem myself.

Same here - and that's why the mileage distance thing in the ads section is handy - you can pick the ones you know are a fair distance away from you. lol

None of my current neighbours ( perish the thought! :shock: ) but one of my former neighbours popped up in my mailbox one day. It wasn't until we exchanged face pics that we realised we knew each other! rotflmao

We still meet up at social events, are good friends off the site and have mutual vanilla friends.
Neither of us will disclose our lifestyle to anyone else so all's well on that score :thumbup:

no neighbours as far as i know r on here but in the days wen i was activly swinging and dogging i exchanged pms with a fella and we used msn and webcams and realised we worked at the same place !!!

I think we have seen one of our neighbours in the chatroom, but for the life of me I cannot think of his name, to check his profile pic. We do see him on his PC quite regularly. biggrin

I have not seen any of my neighbours on here yet but last night was the first night I went out in town since joining. I was aware that some people were looking at me in a different light. Or my flys could have been undone. biggrin

I think its great to meet local friends. Can meet up at short notice, have more to talk about. Thats why I maintain that if anyone sees me around then thay can approach. Before this site I used to have to sense if anyone was into this lifestyle but then how do you bring it up in conversation confused

Have to admit if my boss approached me then that could be awkward :shock:

It makes me mad knowing there are some blokes out there who behave in such a way. Sorry to hear you were pestered. I take your point though about approaching people when they are with others. I have a few select friends who know but would be mortified if i had to explain to others. I personally find it hard to approach full stop let alone have the guts to say where I know them from :lol:
Perhaps we should compile an "approach or not approach" ettiquette. Rather than flashing lights and rolling down of windows it could be simple face and hand gestures :lol:

Its one thing to know there are hundreds of other swingers in your postcode area -- but it really comes home to you what a small world we live in when you start chatting up the lady in the sainsburys queue and suddenly realise that she is the lady you played with at chams the week before lol
(We actually had a lovely vanilla chat -- we both had our kids with us - haven't seen her again in that supermarket - I hope she wasn't spooked by the event)

I know that some neighbours of mine are on here, but understandably (as we live in a small village just outside town) they don't want me to know who they are. It does put me at a disadvantage as they will have seen my pics and know who I am. I guess I'll just have to wait until I hear someone laughing at me for no apparent reason.
