What does an Avatar tell you about a person who is posting? apart from the obvious physical attributes : i.e. good looking, clean shaven, ugly, deformed, can you judge their character by looking at their face? and do you use any criteria to form an opinion about that person : i. e. honest, trustworthy, reliable, especially when one doesn't know him or her.

I have to say that I agree with corriefem in that it's great to let your imagination wander. I have only met a few peeps from this site and have been pleasantly surprised! I think you get to know someone more by what they say than what they look like. I know the old saying 'First impressions count' but what about 'Don't judge a book by it's cover'!!!!!!!

:rotflmao: Well, my avatar (those of you who are really observant will notice I havent got one!) will tell you that I am a complete 'know nothing' on the pc. I can't do avatars, I dunno how to add pics other than emoticons (and by the way I think kinky lizard is darn wonderful his pics make my day), and I can't even do the quote thing (I was once almost brave enough to have a try but then had to go and sit down and have a cup of tea and a think first).
