My avatar is both...it's a picture of me and the also the image I choose to represent myself
...Having re-read this I do seem to be dismissing BB...but as she is a far less frequent visitor to these shores I still kind of see this as my account sorry

i always thought staggerlees pic was something off google and would like to nominate it as coolest pic on here
mine is more because i found it when looking for new angel wings to redo a tattoo i have so stuck it on here so i know where to find it when i get round to getting it done

I've just been in a drama queen mode of late... first I had Norma Desmond and now Sally Bowles.
Normally I have my boobs though wink

Well... I can't load anything up that's more than 102 x 102 so I guess that's it. I think there's a file size limit too but I don't know what that is. If you still have problems then it would be best to open a support ticket.

cubes is correct.
resize any picture here
type in 102 pixels and upload your will then be given 3 choices to download to your go to your settings page and upload it.

what I use depends on my mood and confidence I guess (on how much of me I actually show)
I find it confusing (in a nice way) when people change their avatars - as I actually have to read their name redface
