Nah I didnt get a soft-top but did purchase a mid-life-crisis car hehehe
Although bald men and softops do mix - no bad hair days lol
Yes I've had a soft top in the past, never again, they are for a younger generation, the amount of abuse I got meant that in the end I just didn't bother dropping it. Had it used as a mobile skip whilst sitting at traffic lights, water squirted outa them bottles everyone seems to carry is a favourite one as well. Like a lot of things, for me anyways, they ain't all there cracked up to be. On a really hot day it's better to put the roof up and get the air con going. If your a smoker, forget it unless your going to wear one of the plastic Tommy Tippee bibs to catch the ash. Nope tried em, didn't like em.
few points worth noting corrie if you want a soft top shave ya head...shave it anyway corrie ...
next bald guys have soft tops as their hair doesnt get wet!
hair doesnt get blown about ...
and its never sunny enough in this god foresaken hell hole of a climate to worry about sunburn..
i got 1 a hard top lol and im not bald lol
i got 1 a hard top lol and im not bald lol
Ive always thought of it as a kid thing----no kids=fun car. The baldness/soft top link is I think a function of a lot of post kids men being bald.
I dont believe in mid life crises. Pops out to get his knob piercing.
my wife has a soft top and she aint bald well not on top xx
I stand before you as a bald my but with a hard topped car just a soft topped head.
My head goeas everywhere with the roof down.
Rain isn't half cold
Its true,im 40, bald and drive a soft top merc, and Yes Ive also had the motorbike crisis. The reason we all drive with the top down is because our bald heads are solar chargers for our love machines.
I remember when i met my current partner after many fliratious phone calls we arranged to go out for a drink as ya do..the usual i'll pick you up at 8, now i'd already been warned that he drove a nice car.
So there i am waiting nervously for him to arrive, needless to say he got lost & i had to direct him to my house, he entered my street from the wrong end to where my house is so i time to assess the car as it drove slowly up the street...& yes it was a soft top sports car & yup he has a bald head.
My reaction on getting into the car...mid life crisis hun???
Now I have nothing against soft tops or bald men or either of them together but i defo think its a mid life thing.
Saying that a few yrs later when he realised it was an impractical family car it took me ages to talk him out of becoming a 'mondeo man'
Now that it SOOO much worse lol
Maybe they had hair before they bought the car!
Maybe its something they dont tell you in the adverts for soft top cars. "Danger, make sure your hair is fastened before moving"
I myself bought a soft top alfa and am now receeding. Sold the car but they hair hasn't started to grow back .
