there wont be enough space on the thread to clarify it all but pete has mention the bits.....is this mrs kent or mr kent? wink

The space is infinite really....
Explain away old bean :-)
there is a two hours documentary about Barry George conspiracy ill try and find it then post it here...
All joking aside here but... how much has all this cost the taxpayer?
Two trials.... now acquited and compensation to boot. Must be millions of pounds of OUR money already spent, and now back to square one. dunno

One inserts a black man's head (from a neighbouring tribe) into an old tyre.......
It's one of the most horrifying things you could see.

I know what it is, you idiot. I wanted to know why Pete_sw thought that it was "soon to be seen on our streets"
L
I'm not the fuckwit who thought three question marks would adequately convey that.

Barry George walked free over the murder of TV’s Jill Dando yesterday — despite being a who stalked Princess Diana and was obsessed with blonde stars.
Quote from the Sun. My point typified .. the Sun's word is gospel to some people and as such Barry George is guilty !!

So was he a ?
Did he stalk Diana ?
Was he obsessed with blonde stars ?
A quote from the BBC news in July 2001...." In the 1980s he assaulted a woman living in his tower-block and was jailed for attempted . Another neighbour was assaulted by him as well ".
Go on say it was only attempted . lol He was still jailed for it. Not sure if she was blonde though Steve.
I'm neither in defence or opposition to him I was simply curious as to if The Sun claiming he was a was true or not:-)
Well I suppose he is not a as it was only attempted . But obviously to do that you are not a very nice person anyway.

over 2000 suspects interviewed on this case, the second biggest manhunt since yorkshire ripper but how much is the cost of freedom....Barry has actually served 1 year extra for a normal tarrif on life real killer is still out on the loose!

But that doesn't mean that he was guilty of the Jill Dando murder. The assumption from the Sun's article and by others is that even if he isn`t he deserved to be charged.

Not too sure on that one. lol
So you are saying that you are 100% sure, that being no doubt at all in your mind that this guy is innocent? Cos after being found guilty and then aquited by clever lawyers I am certainly not 100% certain of his innocence...how can anyone be that certain? I hope the law this time has got it right because they thought they had the first time around.
I have no faith in the justice system to be honest. To many judges on planet Zob and dodgy money grabbing lawyers.

I didn't know what it was, and I also thought you wanted an explanation - want to call me an idiot too?
I did know what it was- but also thought you were looking for an explanation. To call someone an idiot for trying to help is downright rude.
Perhaps you should try not to be so ambiguous in future?
Some people on here are saying that Barry George was scrapegoat...err a scrapegoat for who??
Some people even talk of conspiracys...are they saying then that the government possibly had Jill Dando executed??...and that Barry George was the patsy??
Barry George was eventually found not guilty of evidence that was considered (now) inadmissable in court...
He still could have done it!
Jill Dando was just a TV presenter not the President of the United States.

Only if there's a BOGOF at least every six months.
If Allied Carpets can do it then I'm sure the Lord Chancellor can.

Fair point. I thought what I was asking was clear but I accept that some people didn't.
I'm still waiting for an answer from Pete_sw though.

okay....... since barry george is going to be an emotive subject.... let me substitute him for someone else....
lets use stefan kizsko....
he was wrongly sent to prison for the murder of an 11 yr old, lesley molseed in 1975....... he was finally cleared in 1992..... 17 years for a crime he never committed .... the person who did it was found guilty in late 2007....
many people would have had him hanged....
but again... that is an emotive subject... child killers.... so lets substitute him for other people...
lets use the birmingham six
the birmingham six were wrongly sent to prison for the murder of 21 people in the birmingham pub bombings of 1974, they were released in 1991......
17 years for a crime they never committed... many people would have had them hanged......
what would you have said to those families if you had killed them on a miscarriage of justice..... sorry!!!.....whoops!!!!
what really does an eye for an eye really do after it is all said and done?

Revenge? :dunno:
Well I know that Sutcliffe and Huntley are guilty as hell. In my opinion they should have hung them without doubt. I wonder how all the liberals out there would feel if it was their child killed in the most horrific way, or your son or Daughter?
Very easy to sit on the fence and make judgements but different if it was your own flesh and blood....then again maybe not. I still say there was enough there to convict George and there is still doubts there even from the police.
But obviously a subject that stirs peoples feelings, as discussions and differences should.
I never liked him when he was in Culture Club to be honest
