I'd rather chew my own elbows than watch BB. I reckon it would be better not to have any of the people 'evicted' (ffs rolleyes ) and live together for 20 years with a T.V spot once a week on a Sunday afternoon for 5 minutes. At the end of their time they all get £1:20 and a box of terry's all gold as presents.
Seems fair to me. biggrin

It's a monstrosity of a programme which shows human nature in it's more horrible vain and selfish behaviour. NOTHING would induce me to watch one second of it.

Yup, complete twats.
the first one was good as it was like a social experiment to see how different people woould get along in such an enclosed area.... they had no idea of what to expect...
at this stage people know what to expect and just want to get in to be famous... it lost all its originality...
Oh crap  Where's my freakin passport?
bolt
Reality TV Marmite ;-)
We managed to watch the first couple of series with waning interest, but nothing since. Rumour has it that even Davina's kicking it into touch soon.

Dearest Members,
I agree 100% with Jags.
I used to be a huge fan of Big Brother but a couple of things where getting at my
'moral centre' with the show but I ignored them to still watch the show; then....
The whole 'Jade Goody Vs. Shilpa Shetty' incident, proved that my 'internal alarm' was correct about Big Brother.
It wasn't just the actual incident but the manner that
Channel 4 & Endemol have double standards depending on how you look at this...
The Big Brother rules, state that contestants cannot know what is going on in the outside world.
Yet, it seemed that certain contestants 'had an idea' of the manner & feelings in the outside world in the manner they where being called into the Diary Room.
So Channel 4 & Endemol have broken their own rules...also Jack (Jade Goody's Partner) was asked to switch off or disable his Microphone when called into the Diary Room over this mentioned incident.
Again, if Contestants disable their Microphones deliberately in the House then they can be kicked off the show. So Channel 4 & Endemol broke their OWN RULES.
Please read Page 18 of the following link, as this proves that Channel 4 & Endemol DID break their own rules within Big Brother. Ohh..the source of this information: Channel 4 themselves:

Ohh, some other stuff, below:

You would think after all that stuff that happend that the various contestants, Channel 4 & Endemol would of learnt? You would be very wrong indeed.
The next normal Big Brother 2007 happends & guess what Channel 4 & Endemol break their own guidelines again. These NEW one's where due to the racism row & international fall-out of the previous show that they did & in the same year... :!:
Emily Parr got the boot for saying the
'N' word early on in the series.
According to Channel 4, ALL contestants from that point onwards would be told in the briefing prior to entering the Big Brother House in no uncertain terms that ANY use of language that was racist or be deemed so would mean that they would be told to leave.
So, Emily get's the boot for breaking the NEW strict rules but later.... fan faviourite Ziggy Lichman also uses the same 'N' word.
Of course, Ziggy got 'the boot' just like Emily confused:
Wrong, wrong, wrong.
Ziggy just get's a telling off in the Diary Room & it never get's shown on the Television unlike Emily's time.
So it's one rule for one & the other get's away with it.
Again, please read the link below for more information:

Big Brother at first was excellent Television with the very first one being the best.
As Liverpool's own Craig Phillips being the winner due to him standing up to the amazing 'Nasty Nick'.
Now, the Housemates are all after that important Magazine Deal & entry into the many 'V.I.P' (are they really) Clubs of London Town.
I used to love that show but now it can
burn in hell evil

I disagree.
If anyone on this Froum behaved like Jade Goody then they would be banned for life.
Whilst the Froum does get 'heated' from time to time it has never gone or allowed vile racist behaviour done on previous Big Brother series.
Our community is much better than
that Big Brother trash.

so you're not keen then?

Another programme that is absolute drivel. Yet I will probably end up watching snippets of it, when flicking through the channels.
I hate this show with a vengeance! Along with all the other reality tv drivel that insists on thrusting these no hopers in our faces. The other problem is, even if you switch off the tv to avoid it all, you're still bombarded day in and day out by an endless stream of talentless halfwits via the papers and 'chav mags' and so another generation of pseudo celebs is born!
I'm all for shows like the talent shows ( can't name them as I don't watch those either rolleyes but you get my drift ) They, at least, have something talent but BB et al is like being trapped in a house with a dozen chavs and essex girls ( and valleys slappers ) who will do anything to make sure they get mentioned in the tabloids for weeks to come then insist on selling their 'story' adding airbrushed photos of them wearing just a piece of string and bragging about how many guys/girls they've shagged!
I think I'll go paint a wall!

i have to agree with fabio.
the first couple of series was great. and back then it was all about being stuck in a house with just the basics. no hot tub, music ... where they also have to graft with the chickens and the Veg Patch.
not its gone a bit dull. i may watch the first episide to she who goes in, then that'll be it.
i dont actually bother with the celebrity big brothers.
i think although they are simmiler they are very different aswel. if that make sense, lol it does to me

i followed the first once. .cause it had Jack Dee in it.. and he just made it a laugh to watch.
esspecially when he attempted to escape. and hid for hours! very funny indeed

I for one can't wait for its return...
yes it shows human nature up for what it is.... leys remember the world is full of racisits and bigots and cowards..as well as ones not so bright....as well as well balanced healthy individuals.
Itis true that people that go in, now understand the programme more and maybe go in with a game plan... but you find with-in days they can;t keep the pretence up and the real them comes out... roll on June 5th ...
I absolutly love it,its great to sit back and watch the diferent personalities of people and how they quickly change when they can't get what they want biggrin .Imagin doing a swinging BB ,mmmmmmmm now there a thought, stick my name down for that 1 he he. 69position
I dont think I have ever seen such a pile of unadulerated garbage in all my life.....
The only saving grace is that our license fee doesnt go towards it....
