I'm a big girl. I'm not even going to go down the 'big-boned' route... cos I'd be fibbing! lol

I've met plenty of guys on and off this site. Some of them actively seek out big girls, others don't. Have I had a great time with all of them? Yep, pretty much.
Some guys like big women, some don't. Most guys like women who are confident, who know what they want and aren't afraid to ask for it - sexually speaking that is! I'm pretty sure that most of the guys I have met on the site have been attracted to me and my personality rather than my body shape - that's what has made them great meets.
I hope your wife realises that personality is a huge part in all this. She is sooooo much more than just her big boobs, her belly and her (probably!) wobbly bum (see other thread on the merits of this! wink

) However, there will be guys who will find her especially attractive because of all of those physical attributes.
I hope she gets involved in some of the forum banter, goes into the chatrooms, comes to social events and gets to realise that the good - and damn sexy - folk of SH come in many, many different shapes and sizes, and all those shapes and sizes are both welcomed and celebrated.

I've only ever been told by ONE guy that skinny is better.............but he was a vanilla so he don't count :giggle:
I'm constantly being complimented on my curves and every guy I've spoken to about this subject, both vanilla and normal people ( :giggle: ) all agree that curvy ladies are dead sexy :twisted:

just because you are not aware of doesn't mean that it's not true. if you like skinny women so be it but that doesn't mean that most blokes do too.
i've been very skinny and hated it. i like my size best at about a 10-12 which is what i'm aiming for now. i find some men are very shallow in that if a women isn't thin they don't want to know. it tends to be younger men in their 20's but not always. i'm currently a size sixteen but going down and i get attention all the time. if your wife is happy how she is there are certainly other people who are going to be happy with her too. after all you can't be the only man in the world to find her attractive!

Well, I suppose there are two different questions here.
I believe that sarcasticcupid was questioning the original poster's assertion, that it is a fact that most guys like larger ladies.
I think he was saying, that it might be true, might not be - but to state it as a fact sounds like a generalisation.
Whereas I can see what you are saying, Whips - you are saying that he's questioning the validity of the assertion, as in, you feel he's saying "no, it's not true, most men don't like larger ladies"
Am I making any sense at all? I've had a hard day lol

Just because you're aware of the polls, doesn't mean they are all accurate either. Polls can be biased. SC didn't actually say that he preferred thinner ladies though.

getting back on topic, I will let u into a little secret, and I may be going out on a limb here by admitting this........now dont tell anyone else....BUT.....I was frigid (oh yes, really I was!!) for years and years, because of depression caused by a number of things, one of them being my size.
I wore baggy clothes to hide my size and steered clear of sex for months and months at at time, and hated Mr B touching me, kissing me or even being near me.
I just didnt feel like a woman, any woman, should feel, i didnt feel sexy, gorgeous, desireable, or even remotely pretty....until a chance commet by a friend only LAST YEAR that he found me sexy.....this got me thinking that maybe, just maybe, if he had found me sexy, maybe others did too.
So, I set about doing reaeach on the net (how sad is that) to find out if if were true, and lo and behold came across alsorts of websites and magazines devoted to te biger woman.
I was absolutely sunned at this and couldnt believe what I was seeing....Im a size 24/26 but there were women 3 times the size of me baring all for soft and sexy photo shoots all the way to full on 'chubby porn'
I cant tell you how much of a boost this gave me, and over the next few weeks, I began to feel very VERY sexy..., and because my mind set had been changed, it had such a difference on the way I saw myself, and felt about myself and the way I felt about my body and being naked.
I was gonna submit a photo into readers wives section of a top shelf magazine, but a mate told me about a website that you could post pix on in much the same way. So on a whim I did postsome photos on the net and all I can say is OMG the comments I got were unbelievable!!! :shock:
Not one nasty comment, some really nice comments and some very VERY hot comments, but comment after comment of how gorgeous my body was, how sexy I was and so on and so forth. The boost thats made to my self esteem was immeasureable....hearing that complete strangers found me nice/hot to look at was something I never thought would happen, and lets face it, we all like to think someone finds us appealing dont we??
Anyways the thread is now into 15 pages long, I have an army of 'fans' one of which asked us had we ever thought of swinging....we hadn't....and gave us a link to a certain swinging site in May last year, and the rest as they say is history!!
and its had over 30,000 hits too which is an awesome feeling too.
Of course Im not suggesting that OP's wife should do what I did, but was just trying to illustrate that us big girls can be and are damn sexy, and there are loads of guys out there that would agree, and even tho she might not think so, seeing the comments on this thread, or hearing nice things in the chat room, and things like that, can only serve to make her feel more comfortable and happy with herself in her own head....cos if u dont get past that obstacle...it aint never gonna happen!!
And the distance I have come in the past year is amazing and all came from a single chnce comment...so I wish you and your wife all the very very bst in your journey through your sexuality together....and the main thing is, have fun doing it :thumbsup: xxx

granted u get ur folks lookin fer size zero and no further than a size 12,. its preference to most. but being lrg should not.. i mean... '' not '' discourage you from being way u are. i love something thats more to grab. and also, its wots inside that counts. looks n fashion these days is heading to the larger lady. so dont go gastric banding or mean machine dieting. having sex is same fer all of us.. why u think there is such a book as the kamasutra???? lots o positions to discover. so hurrah !!!! fer the larger lady.
