You may not actually be dominant, you may just feel that you need to control the situation because you feel that you need to please the woman. You may feel that the only sex a woman likes is hard and rough to get her going, hence your attitude and need to be in control.

Doesn't it get boring having agressive sex all the time? No I don't think it is normal - variety is the spice of life.
I guess if someone hasn't had much sex in their lives I can understand them becoming fixated on one type of sex until they've tried it and then probably move on.
