Haircut, Massage and shave in a Turkish barbers!
Only had a trim (I think Turkish barbers only know one haircut - and I didn't want that), but the head, neck and shoulder massage was excellent. Followed by hair removal with a lighted taper - they 'flick' flame into your ears to singe off the fine hairs. Best of all though was the hot shave with a cut-throat razor and steaming hot towels. Absolutely fantastic.
I've only been able to find one barber local to me who is prepared to give a wet shave (he was Iranian and has since moved on), which is a shame but it turns what is normally a chore into a very relaxing experience.
I had a Turkish bath while on holiday-absolute heaven! Lots of semi clad hunks rubbing you down
Turkish bath=
10 mins sauna.
Rub down with massage mitt on stone slab followed by soaping and rinse.
Oil massage.
The oil massage was done by a Brad Pitt lookalike *sighs*
Ooo ... I love to give a massage!
Do you want orange or rosemary or cedarwood oil ... or all three?
A little gentle rub of the shoulders to settle you and then start with the feet and work back upwards till you are totally unwound ... and fall asleep! It's happened!
