Haircut, Massage and shave in a Turkish barbers!
Only had a trim (I think Turkish barbers only know one haircut - and I didn't want that), but the head, neck and shoulder massage was excellent. Followed by hair removal with a lighted taper - they 'flick' flame into your ears to singe off the fine hairs. Best of all though was the hot shave with a cut-throat razor and steaming hot towels. Absolutely fantastic.
I've only been able to find one barber local to me who is prepared to give a wet shave (he was Iranian and has since moved on), which is a shame but it turns what is normally a chore into a very relaxing experience.

I used to shave my elderly father in law with a cut throat razor........ not sure why he trusted me

This so appeals to me for the same reasons , kids ,hectic life to look for availability near me but not looking forward to hearing the price
I tried one of those flotation tanks once, not the small ones but the big ones where there's about 10 people in at once. Very strange!! I can't say it was the most relaxing thing and I wouldn't pay for it again. For me, a nice foot rub - and it doesn't have to be done by a professional to be heaven

Not frightened, Anais, but may opt for a safety razor if you are offering 'personal' shaving! :lol: I have been suffering from *shaky hands sydrome* lately..so maybe the safety razor is a must!
Mind you, I use one of those on me legs an I cut myself to bits... still want a personal shave??? :grin: Im good honest and I have plasters!

Rub down with massage mitt on stone slab followed by soaping and rinse.
Oil massage.
The oil massage was done by a Brad Pitt lookalike *sighs*

I love giving and recieving a massage. Its one of the most sensual things you can do for your partner and a great way to explore the body

Not sure about that Dave, but I was about 30 seconds from diving out through the glass door in the sauna if they hadn't opened it
