Ok any suggestions for films that are guaranteed to make you have a good cry and blubber.

Agree with most of the above mentioned films, especially Truly, Madly, Deeply. One of my faves.
Last film I cried at was Polar Express 'cos I'm a sucker for a happy ending (come on - its a family Xmas film, you don't really think I've given away the ending do you??) and before that it was Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I don't know if is actually sad or if it was 'cos I'd just been going through some heavy emotional stuff at the time.
Love Story gets me too. Yeah, I know it's cheesy!

Armageddon. Not because it was sad, it wasn't, but because it was bad. Very, very bad. I weep for the loss of 2 hours of my life. I also weep at the continued existence of Michael Bay and Jerry Bruckheimer.

So good to see so many of you love one of our faves - Truly, Madly, Deeply. Bloody marvellous movie.
As is The Pianist. Only saw that a couple of weeks ago after my mum & dad taped it for me and (dad being Jewish - his parents being of a certain age, etc) it really was a weepie.
Another is What Dreams May Come. Beautifully made. Some issues close to my soul:- art, mental health, etc.
Highlander (only the original one mind) is a bit leaky at the eyes, too.
BTW - I did not say any of this. I am far too hard and heartless to give a shit about sentimental issues and chick flicks. It must have been my less-evil twin.
Oh, What Dreams May Come. Excellent film, visually amazing.
Shawshank, another good one, also The Green Mile which I only got around to seeing recently.

Yep Ricky Schroder in The Champ does it forme every time I watch the damn thing.
Old Spenser Tracey movie Boys Town with a young Mickey Rooney is another.
Gettysburg, oddly enough.
And while it's not a film, any television programme that shows elderly soldiers, navy or airmen recounting their wartime experiences in tears always has me going.

1) Jack & Sarah. I bubble almost from start to finish when watching that one.
2) The Green Mile. A whole box of tissues through that one the first time I saw it.
3) Legends of the Fall. Another I bubble through most of.
