Liking a tv show is not the same as being obsessive about it. Some of us can watch and still be normal, healthy, emotionally balanced people.

kiss can I shag you then lol  It would be a bit strong to have a criteria for non shagging based on what people watch. I think that goes back to the "wouldnt shag a Sun Reader" type of thinking. Many articulate and well rounded people read the Sun as it has the best sports coverage of all papers (or did). Many well rounded and articluate people watch BB. I cant watch Eastenders at the moment as makes me want to slit my throat it is so depressing. Should I make sure I dont chat to anyone who does
I watched quite a lot of the first one and enjoyed it, there was some good conversations and people were relatively grown up in how they interacted.
As the seasons have gone by, the selection of inmates (I can't call them contestants - it gives them too much credit) has gone totally downhill. Most of them are thick as planks, and every one of them seems to be chosen for their ability to express firmly held but totally moronic and uninformed opinions over and over and over and over again.
I love the concept of getting a bunch of varied people together and seeing them interact and solve problems etc but the ones chosen are awful. From teh little I have seen of recent ones, it's like watching your Dad dancing at a family wedding - it's hell, but you can't look away. biggrin
Having said that being a BB watcher wouldn't stop me shagging someone - I had a meet with a footie fan and we took a break to watch the game and eat pizza, it was fab :D
No Dave you are not alone. Could not agree with you more, particularly your comments regarding JG (can't bring myself to state her name in full.) If she had any sense of self awareness she would disappear from public view a.s.a.p You were being cruel to labotomise monkeys !!
Not only are all the BB 'participants' manipulated by the programme makers but so are the audience with producers editing to contrive certain reactions from the viewers. A waste of time and air space (and I don't just mean the area between JG's ears)!
Well done Dave for summing up BB perfectly.
I think the big brother episode when Orlaith went naked in the garden will go down in television history..................... rolleyes
