On wednesday anybody who doesnt have a life will be glued to the television set watching some nutters in a house swear at each other and generally behave in a manner to get a newspaper interested and a job presenting some shit on E4 or Sky One.
Will you watch it? has all the racist stuff that's gone before put you off it?
and will they smoke in the house once the ban comes in?
I wont be watching i want to watch something in a cage i go to the zoo or buy a hamster.
I have no life. For once, i will not be glued the PC.
Wednesday at 9pm will find me on the sofa with a nice hot cuppa ready to see what freaks and numpties BB has to offer this year.
I don't care either. Every year without fail I've backed the argument for BB and other reality shows, now I just don't give a shit. I don't have to justify myself to anyone.
If you don't like it - don't watch it.
Must have stirred some passion in you for you to post a poll though eh?
hmmm... difficult question this one.
BB is a kind of guilty pleasure.
Generally I find the media savvy types taking part these days to be a little tiresome.
The ego clashing a tad embarrassing.
And generally speaking, of the last few I've caught, those who might have successfully applied to be rather unlikable.
However... seeing it as a *social experiment* (with very expansive 'finger wagging quote gestures') I rather like, and hope to see, the prospect of viewing an un-edited descent into a Lord of the Flies chaos!
Perhaps the contestants should just be locked in, with enough supplies already there and readily available for however many weeks the show is to last, and simply left to it!
>sits back and rubs hands at the prospect<
lp
i'll not be watching all of it, but if its one when i flick through the channels then i may be tempted.
have you notices that a lot of people you ask nd they say "i don't watch that crap" but they always seem to know all about whats going on in the house.#
I love it.....have watched it from series one. Have tried to get on a few times as well. To those that don't like it ( and yes as jiggle says seems to know about it) ..you have pleanty of other channels to watch.....whats the problem !!
However i always say to people watch it for a week, with an open mind....and you will be pulled in and become an addict.
Can't wait till wednesday personally.
Omg it's dierrrrrrrrrrrrr no way and never in that order id ever watch such garbage ..but thats just my opinion
Debz xxxx
I usually keep an eye on things in the BB house by watching the daily highlights (so-called) two or three times a week, but I'm feeling less inclined this time, after the production team's cynical screwing of the viewing public last year by putting back into the house people who had been voted out, plus the highly suspicious way some things were decided, e.g. the Kitkat lucky ticket offer, where boring Suzi seemed to know she was going to win.
Plus in general the housemates seem to be a shallower lot each time.
I won't be watching... My view is that there should only ever have been one series, or one, then shelve it till people forget what it was all about. That way you're not just getting the weirdos, wannabes and w**kers, the brain-dead, chavtastic slice of British grown-up (allegedly) population smearing themselves across the media like a bad case of Marmite (YUK! Can't stand Marmite, and hate people who are famous just for being on one of those stupid reality shows)
Series one: No one really knew what was going to happen, no one in the house or sitting watching really knew what to expect. Good programming and a brilliant idea.
Now: Everyone wants to get in the house (apologies to deancannock) just to be famous, do the stupid crap they're made to do and generally make loads of cash from the spinoff "celeb" stuff that follows on the heels. Overplayed, overblown, overhyped trash masquerading as "good programming".
Yeah, I've seen it. I've been subjected to watching it when I go round to the neighbours. If I wanted to watch idiots, chavs and people with severe social diseases, I'd go stand out the front on a Saturday night. I choose to do other things with my time.
I watch it. It's lazy telly for me I can sit down with a brew and not think. Saying that though I do end up pretty addicted!
never mind the BB Lark...
Have any of you heard about the Dutch *donour* programme? eh?
eh?
lp
i do hope the if you havent got a life comment was tounge in cheek.
i do have a life and i love people watching so love bb.
lp ive read about that one weird and have you heard the new show regarding jodie marsh who will marry the guy who people vote for on a new sky show? lol
seems that since technology has taken off although we can now communicate with the whole world people have become more singuler and reclusive, which in itself has seen a rise in reality tv.
could it be that we sit in our homes and watch real life rather than participate in it?
