Big Mistake!

Oh dear
I usually buy Ben& Jerry type ice creams in a 500ml container, and once they are out of the freezer and I have a spoon in my hand, the contents somehow evaporates.
I was in Iceland this week and they had a lovely big tub (2litres  ) of chocolate ice cream.
Can anyone see where this is heading yet?
I've made the mistake of taking the tub out of the freezer and sitting down with spoon in hand. I was only intending to have a little bit. Now I can't seem to put the bloody thing away. It's all "I'll just have one more spoonful".
HHEEELLLLP!!!!!!!!!!!
next time - just buy 'Vanilla'.
Apparently it is SOOOOOO boring, you'll never bother getting it out of the freezer! biggrin

I'll help...only right to share :P
Hmm, that is a special bit of evil by the supermarket!
B&J rocks - esp Phish food and Cookie Dough... (could be a new thread?)

Think about that sexy dress you are going to wear to all the christmas parties soon and how your gonna bust the zipper on it if you keep eating ice cream like there is no tomorrow .... get several packs of sugar out and think of them on your hips and legs and tummy making you really fat ... usually works for me

Iceland chocolate is pretty bland too - might add it as a suggestion in other thread lol.
I just can't step away from the damn thing, thank god I can't reach the biscuit tin confused

you could dunk your biscuits in the ice cream then
Exactley! That is why they are kept on top of the cupboard where a short arse like me can't reach them. If they are chocolate biscuits they have to be expertly hidden or they don't last five minutes. Unfortunately i can sniff out chocolate at 100 paces so no matter how well they are hidden they still last less than ten minutes
mmmmmmmmmmmm Ben & Jerry's :inlove:
that'll be the New York double chocolate fudge with choc chips for me then! (not just ordinary choc chips might i add, these things are like dairy milk chunks!!)
it's absolutely incredible - bonus being its soooooo sickly and gooey, 2 spoons is enough!!
(each spoon being about 4000 calories) Oh blink

I'm currently working my way through a tub of Tesco's finest Coffee Ice Cream. Bought it on a whim as it was on special offer, but it's quite an experience. It's basically like ice cream made with unsweetened latte, there's a definite caffeine kick to it (always a bonus smile ), and it goes very well with a little honey.
