I am not quite sure on the exact limits of the law with regards to privacy of your image captured by a photographer but, as a keen photographer, I do know that the copyright of the image belongs to the photographer. That said if the photo is taken on private property (and a club that is open to members only is, by definition, private) the photographer is limited in what he/she can do with the images. If the images are either of private property or of individuals (people in the public eye are in a lightly grey area but the rest of us are 'private' individuals) then written consent of the 'models' or the property owner is required for the images to be used - but that essentially means you can sue if they are used without your permission and NOTW might still print them. Photographs taken in a public location (beach, etc.) are more freely controlled so you are essentially fair game there.
Personally speaking, I would insert said camera phone in a suitable orifice if I found someone taking photos of me 'on the job'!
