With the news that Jim'll Fix It is on its way back, given the choice what kids programme would you bring back & why.
For me, its the Banana Splits, for its unadulterated violence yet no blood, cool cars (well, except the car driven by the elephant thing Snorky) and for introducing us to Billie Pipers first acting role as Bingo.........All together now " La la la, la la la la, la la la, la la la la, One banana, two banana.....fades..."

And the garters made from hat bands with RN ship names on. There's probably a name for those things. She made getting up on a Saturday morning worth the effort.
Saw Sal on the telly a few weeks ago. I still would.

What is this "morning" thing of which you speak?
It's a knockout biggrin The kids love watching the repeats along with the Carry On films :giggle:
Rhubarb & custard
Hectors house
The Clangers
Old kids TV was the best, love to see those 3 again, probably start filling up when I think about all the years that have flashed by since I last saw them though
Noggin the Nog
Not a kids program, but I want to see Prisoner cell block H again.
I had watched the whole series but missed the last 4 ever episodes when I moved.
Unfortunately where I moved to was about 2 years behind and on at a time that wasnt practical to watch. After failing to set the video (yes video, dvd's weren't around then lol) I gave up, resigning myself to the fact I wasn't going to get to see the ending.

I personally don't think it will ever be as good as first time round, not being funny but kids expectations are generally higher... back in the late 70's (early 80's was it??), you would get a kid writing in asking Jim to fix it for them to maybe spend a day watching a barbie being made and they would end up taking one home. Nowadays who knows what they will ask??!!! Good idea tho but I think Jim'll be worn oot by it all. lol
My choice of programme to bring back: Crackerjack! winning all those cauliflowers must have been brill! biggrin
