No need to try and put words in my mouth Rog mate ( i have enough of my own ) . By all means discuss it , id love to read it ..................discussion is a free and frank exchange of views and ideas. The ideas are the most important part , in my humble opinion , otherwise its just called complaining .
The only people who should discuss religion are atheists.
The only people who should discuss politics are those without televisions.
The thing most likely to have an effect on human existence are viruses. Scientifically considered to be the probable cause of human extinction.

erm . . don't think we need to put words in your mouth do we. many of your own are patronising enough this evening? or am i just being over sensitive?
so!
your solution to the US's desire for global hegemony, and strategic bases for WMD, not to mention the murder of kids around the world, then bitching when it bites them on the arse would be what exactly? i'm very very interested in your solution? as would be half the world and his wife currently harbouring a complaint about georgy boy? as would the brits getting bits and bobs blown off in baghdad on a daily basis to fulfil some bullshite agenda?
i'll give you time to construct a reasoned reply!
neil x x x ;)
Didn't Dubya go after Sadaam because he (Sadaam) hatched a plot to assassinate George Senior after Gulf 1?But he dressed it up as part of the war on terror and WMD sickening part is we went along with were lied to by our leaders and went to war to settle someone elses' personal vendetta, with absolutely no exit strategy. mad
Id like to say im sorry that you read me as patronising , but i find im not .
I made no comment on George Bush or his poilcy and refuse to as my knowledge of it is only gleaned from scant sources . As I said I would only wish to pass public comment if i had something to offer as an arguament as it isnt my wish to come here and just whinge and criticise ( in truth i didnt think its what the site was for)
Your post is scathing . succinct , to the point and offers as much constructive comment as any of the ones i read before .
Peace G
sorry big g i must have completely misread this comment . . .
Just like every other faux political discussion ive heard there are always lots of people willing to criticise , in this case Bush ( albeit with identical platitudes to the ones they applied to his predecessor) . Fact is criticism is easy when you dont provide any solutions or constructive comment .

but since the discussion is completely faux??????? best leave it there eh? and i'll keep my platitudes on the whole US agenda to myself eh? bush or clinton? but we'll leave them to get on with it cos i clearly have no opinion, even though i think someone else brought that subject up? i may be wrong? what do i know?
neil
Yes i agree you must have read it completely wrong . Maybe your reading was coloured by offence at something posted elsewhere . I dont know . You are right though , youre entitled to your opinion , and when youre done flaming me , perhaps you'll give it and ill be happy to hear it .
Read Machiavelli if you want to know what makes them all tick...the motivations of man are as old as time.
I don't comment on any of them, much, I don't like the caricatures and journalistic sleaze-mongering; I don't like the confrontational style of modern politics; I don't like the party systems; so, I don't take part-and that is very, very wrong, and I know it. It is a betrayal of a precious right, that men died for-or thought they did-and I don't rest easy with it.
As has been pointed out, Bush can't be the Primitive he is portrayed as. Nothing is black and white (excepting Pandas, Zebras and Mint Humbugs).
All I know is that there is much more that happens in the world than we will ever know, not all of it pleasant. That doesn't worry me: what worries me is that I don't WANT to know about it....

Welcome roberto and thanks for posting something intelligent! and interesting.
The future of president of America will have a great relevance not just for this country but allso for the rest of the world, to ignore the presidential elections is very short sighted
Personally, I think that like Britain the US needs a change of leadership and within reason,, any change is better than no change!!
Once again Robertto welcome xxx

I don't know foxy, since looking at your avatar, my intelligence has dropped off some smile
I'm amazed anyone on this sight could possibly consider any American President as a good prosepect.
If you are gay...............You have no rights.
If you swing...................Texans would hang you.
If you are bisexual........The bible belt would cure you.
If you are not white........All the best, but don't expect much.
If you are white and straight..........Welcome to America
Forget what the hell they say about foreign affairs. What is most important is how they treat their own people. Thank allah/God I aint a black, hispanic, gay, lesbian, swinger, muslim, free thinker or anyone else who would choose to reject the American idea of what is a dream.
And please don't be thinking I'm anti American. All my friends in america have been expressing the same opinion for years........if you want an American president who cares then stop consuming.
When it comes down to it would you rather see more bush on the telly or more kerry?
Bush please boink
Anyhow don't really care about politics

Okay, quick coffee break then back to work….
Looking at the politics within the western world I must admit I do sometimes wonder just how true these rumours concerning the Broederbond (hope I spelt that right and haven‘t used the Afrikaans name for them) and the World Band holding all the puppet strings are.
a thought.

Oop, don't mind me Neil. Me finks me watches too much of the Discovery channel.
I think the party machines in the US genuinely think it would be dangerous to have someone intelligent for President.
Strangely enough the last one, though, was quite recent, Bill Clinton. He was only forced into it by his wife. But there again we all discovered what his biggest organ is.
:welcome: Roberto. If you're up at 3am, why're you watching politics???
