hey all i hope you dont me putting in this thread
It has recently come to our attenion through advertising that there dosent appear to be anyone who is at all into our diverse taste only musicalyand looks anyway wink ( i know this to be untrue because of other peoples post in here)
so thought we would post this so we could at least get these people that do exist
together for a big group" HI"
as wee are newbies its a good way to get to no people
this in no way is intended to exclude all the really nise guys on the forum
but i hope just a good way for the people into the same sort of normal day things to get to chatting more
sorry if we have offended anyone that is not our intension
maya & vik
:borg:
I'm a leather loving wench does that count?
lol whip
i,m into my metal and rock i,m also new
Industrial and electro? Apart from a few Depeche Mode fans, I thank that's pretty much just me. We do have our fair share of goths though... or is it just that a lot of pale skin is on show round here?
Not that much into punk/metal though - I'm one of those people who thinks "Pretty Hate Machine" is the best thing Reznor ever did, not the worst!

mister discreet i must admit i prefer my industrial to anything else
i do still love the old goth stuff bauhaus fields of the nephilim
but im deffinetly a pogoin industrial head
so now that makes two of us
Its been a long time since I've really listened to, or brought music so would have no ideas of any band names or track titles... damn I must be getting old, lol.
However, goth, rock, metal, are very much my prefered listening... although I do like the odd chart song now and again, lol.
Sadly the alternative scene is fairly much dead in the midlands... even the late great rock city caters to the townies one night a weekend.
the only real "goth/alternative" scenes seem to be mixed in with the fetish and D/s now... or at least up here.
Hull still has a thriving rock scene tho, but I dont manage to get up there much and either have to stay sober or book a hotel.
The last good do's I went to were the carnival of the souls weekend (goth) and texas terry (punk)
I have a real thing for the goth look, especially the cutsie "cyber goth" and the metal goth look... Industrial Bitch has to be one of my favorate goth models.
I do find it interesting that "goth" is no longer the goth I knew as a lad... but then again, the whole music scene seems to have re-classified itsself and I'm sorry but the "rock" of now is not what I knew as rock, lol.
Shame you're not up north.
Some of my pals and I are off out to a rock night in a couple of weeks time. We went a couple of weeks back and it was great fun. I had forgotten how much I missed my rock nights out.
There are a couple of clubs in Manchester that play the music you speak of. Although industrial isn't really my thing anymore, I prefer metal, rock , punk, alternative and ska right now, though if I like the sound of it I'll listen to it.
kiss

Ello, I'm a dodgy goth type, although primarily listening to cheesy ebm like vnv nation and apoptygma berzerk biggrin theyre dancable, sue me :P
Nice to meet you all. Didn't think there were any metal/gothy people here.
Take care
Ken
I like all music - although my "purchases" don't always reflect that - they tend to be more mainstream metal.
Gotta say, though, that after spending a few nights with Dani Filth on a film set, that there is NOTHING SEXIER in the world that Goth Women.
Black hair, loads of dark eyeliner, lots of lace, velvet and leather...
Grrrrr...
I too am a lover of most things musical, but I do like my rock.
Rammstein, Andrew WK, Def Leppard & AC/DC to name but a few of my favourites. cool
Me and the missus are long time Rockers. Ive played guitar for years. First gig 1992 Guns and Roses original line up at Milton Keynes.
Not a word from you old foggies smackbottom :smackbottom:
Goth/punk/metal/rock etc gal here too! Can't afford to dress the part but I'd really love to!
I adore all kinds of stuff from the old skool Sisters of Mercy, the Mission etc to more current bits of all sorts, QOTSA, Alice In Chains, ohhh all sorts! All the skater kids think I'm a cool mom lol!
Have always loved punk/goth music from 70's to now such as The Damned, Sex Pistols, Siouxsie and the Banshees, New Order, Tubeway Army, Bauhaus right up to Rammstein, Marilyn Manson (who I have met lol )etc.

Wow, I never realised we had such a crowd of esoteric music lovers here.
I'm a little on the old side, so I'm remembering dancing the night away at the Hardclub in London to Nitzer Ebb, Front 242, Sheep on Drugs (now there was a live band!), Frontline Assembly, D.A.F, RevCo, Ministry... I think I need to go and raid my CD collection for a bit of nostalgia now!
