Can you be too young to be a swinger?

OK Ok OK!!!!
Just to clarify- we weren't worried about anything at all to do with our age or other peoples, just wanted to know everyones thoughts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We think its superb that a couple so young and in love can be at ease with this sort of fun. Your relationship can only get better with time and it would appear its gonna get more exciting as opposed to the normal behind the back ganmes that most long term couples do.
As for finding it difficult to meet other couples we struggle to believe you are as you are both fantastic looking people and seem very easy to get alomg with. I know for sure if we were close by we'd definetly e-mail but we do get to edinburgh a couple of times a year so a meet for a chat might be viable ;)

I fully agree with what Gem said above about maturity!
You can be too young to swing, but I dont think that this is an age thing, but more of a maturity thing. You can be 40+ and not be mature enough to swing, but someone in their early 20's may be more than mature enough to swing.
Hard question and without generalising its fairly difficult to give an specific answer, however, I really dont think I would feel comfortable with someone who was old enough to be my son/daughter, but also wouldnt be comfortable with someone who was the same age as my dad (they may have been mates in school, now that would be worrying) wink

Mazandden, if you both feel comfortable with what you are doing, both feel that this is enhancing what is already a strong, loving relationship, then to be honest, it has sod all to do with anyone else biggrin

If your happy, then go for it :wink:

Guys!!!!! :shock:
Again! For the final time!
We don't have any problems being a young couple, we have no problems meeting other couples and have never found our age an issue!
We are comfortable and at ease with our swinging and we've said that - it's not what the post was about!!!
We simply came across another young in the chat room who were getting hassled as someone said they couldn't be swingers as they were too young to be swingers!

I just wished I looked my age so people might think I was too young to swing :shock: biggrin

! The missus looks her age (24) but I have always been/looked old for my age and have been going slightly grey since I was about 22/23 and I'm now 27!!
I totally agree with everyone else's comments about age, it seems to me that its certainly more to do with attitude and outlook whereby someone in their 20's can seem more at ease with themselves and the scene than people in their 40's and 50's

To me personally age matters, i'm not really into toy boys etc but as far as swinging goes age don't matter so long as everthing is legal etc you need a wide range of people to cater for everyone after all we don't all like the same

Why am I young and swinging?
Simply, because I dont need to. The minute I need to swing to make my life feel complete, I shall walk away. Wanting to do something and needing to do it are two different things and no matter how you try, the underlying issues and reasons don't go away. I'd fix them and then come back when I wanted to swing.

Been swinging since my early twenties except I didn't know it as such then it was just us and not once have I felt I've had to swing to fill a void or any other reason. I've done it because I've enjoyed it smile

er did any of that make sense or was it even in context to the thread I've only had a few hours sleep :cry:
