Car registration numbers

I cant imagine much of a thread developing from this but I saw a car reg yesterday (lady driver) and the last part read 3 sum, it also had a little playboy bunny on the plate. I thought it was pretty cool and it obviously got me thinking of this site. wink

Wonder if she's reading this :P

I remember watching a film on tv a long time ago....Think it was something like Smokey and The Bandit or something similar...
One of the cars in the film had the registration

4q2 lol. There is a good one parks at the local hospital reads "biopsy" obviously not the actual numbers/letters but that is how it reads.

It's actually PEN 1 S. Is does exist... DVLA must have kicked themselves for missing that one...

I'd love to ge the plate BOL 10X
but i doubt it escists casue i'm sure someone said that tehy removed all the plates that resembled swear words

Foolishly, I let the dude in the shop chose my (very ordinary) reg when I bought my Harley. He thought it was amusing and explained his reasoning:
WM ## EKE
WM = woman
## = the year, obviously
EKE = Get outta the way, it's a burd on a bike!

I saw one a few weeks ago that was obviously personalised and ending in ASL..... I did wonder if it was a swinger driving the car smile

Maybe the DVLA pulled it for being racist, but does "N199 ERS" exist? I've often thought about this. If i was a black man, i'd buy that plate.

I used to see a car every monday morning when driving home, its plate was P195 ONK and it always made me chuckle, or should that be oink !

Way back when I lived in Liverpool I once saw 2 cars at traffic lights next to each other a white Beetle with the reg letters KKK and black Escort with the letters NWA. thought it was quite amusing, if only I'd had my handy phone cam!
